The MTA , who has been formulating plans to evacuate animals in case of a Katrina like hurricane, can not handle 1 1/2 inches of water & sections are flooded. The whole system leaks like a sieve. Stand in any station & you can sometimes see Niagra Falls like water cascades in the station going onto the track

Luckily I got home & only had to walk 1 stop . Others were not so lucky
