I am totally hooked on this mystery series. Devoured the 1st book and the 2nd ( The Girl Who Played With Fire) and am pracically vibrating waiting for the 3rd(TGW Kicked the Hornets Nest) A Swedish film version is coming out this week and I am so up for it! I know that Hollywood is looking to do a version as well but the Swedish version seems closer to the book. Anybody else interested?

I've read the first 2 also. My mom has the 3rd but she loaned it to my grandmother. I'm going to visit them next month so I'll get it then. I'm stoked.

I had no idea they were making a movie!

I can't wait to see it. I read that they also made the other two for Swedish TV and will be released in the near future here. They kept the same actors for all three movies even though Dragon Tatoo was the only one released as a movie in theaters.

I just ordered the 3rd book from a British bookshop. The release date for USA is not until the end of May and I can't wait!

I got most of the way through DRAGON TATTOO and then just rather suddenly lost interest and didn't finish it. I did like Salander's rather tasty revenge, though. Supposedly David Fincher is thinking of doing the Hollywood film. Maybe it would make up for the horror of BENJAMIN BUTTON.
