So this student teacher assigned a paper where we have to describe 2 major differences between the novel The Great Gatsby and the film version... when we haven't even finished watching the movie yet.
So, if you've read the book and watched the movie (specifically the one made in 2000 with Paul Rudd and Mira Sorvino), can you possibly give me one major difference that I could expand upon in an essay? I already have one:
SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!
How Gatsby is killed in the very beginning instead of near the end.
SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!SPOILER!!!!
But I need one more.... thanks a ton in advance!
I haven't seen the movies of the novel, but if you have any novel-based questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you.
One big difference...the novel is brilliant, the movie sucks.
I just googled these words: great gatsby novel movie difference. Many sites came up.

Yes, I tried that, but many of the sites compare the book with the 1974 film.

It's actually due tomorrow... haha. Procrastination is my worst enemy.
We are watching the movie in class, but we haven't even finished it yet.
Is this for Dollypop's class? Because his late close personal ex-friend, Jerry Hadley starred as Jay Gatsby in the opera version.

If Dollypop is secretly a 20 something student teacher named Stephanie, maybe.
It's all about the eyes of Dr. T. J. Eckleburg.
Enough said?
Weren't they blue?
I remember them having to do with God.
