The Hudson Hotel (NYC)?

Has any one stayed there? Does any one know it?

re: The Hudson Hotel (NYC)?

I stayed there in Oct. Nice hotel and very clean. Rooms are bit small but that's to be expected. The lobby is like a night club when the sun goes down -- loud music, dim lights and people everywhere having cocktails. The lights in the hallways are very dim and I mean haunted house dim. The towels suck! They are like sand paper. I liked the location to the park and easy walk to the theaters. I didn't eat in the restaurant so can't tell you what that was like. I got a great deal on priceline. Write me if you have other questions and I'll do my best to answer.

Thanks UDIG. I also got a deal on priceline. My boss is traveling there next weekend, I am trying to get out of a rehearsal so I can go too.

I like the part about everyone walking around with cocktails!

re: The Hudson Hotel (NYC)?

It's really lovely - very 'artsy'. Take some time to walk around the lobby and don't miss the other public rooms downstairs. It's really beautiful. The individual rooms are postage-stamp sized but they're clean and have very comfy beds. I also was impressed with the very friendly staff there. Only one thing bothered me and that was the VERY dark hallways. I actually had to count the doors to find my room because I couldn't see the numbers!
