The I can't stand my siblings thread

We have all been there. It seems that your siblings know how to make you tick better than anyone. My older brother (19) is back from college and has taken over the house. He is a total slob. He plays music (bad music) loud and at all hours. He is totally inconsiderate. Last night, my younger brother (5) woke me up at two in the morning because he had a bad dream. I don't know why he didn't go to my parents. He asked if he could stay with me the rest of the night. Next thing you know, not an hour later, I awake to find that Jonathan has wet my bed. Just wonderful! Plus, being little, he is a constant annoyance. Finals are right around the corner, and I have to put up with these two. Anybody else who feels like venting about your siblings, here is the place to do it.

Why couldn't I be an only child?

i dont necessarily hate my brother (most of the time), but i DESPISE his girlfriend.

he goes to boarding school (i take that back, he just graduated) but whenever he's home, she calls CONSTANTLY. no matter what time of day. if its 3 AM and she cant sleep, she calls him. and i have a phone in my room so i just unplug it whenever he's home. she also yells at him for not answering on the first ring. she freaks out and is like WHAT ARE YOU DOING? ARE YOU DOING SOMETHING THAT YOU JUST CANT ANSWER ON THE FIRST RING? ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME?

she also emails me and tells me to stop lying to my mother.

..... i dont know, so dont ask. its completely random.


and if he does something, like goes out with us or one of his friends, and he doesnt tell her she FLIPS.

but when theyre together they get along fine. and we were talking about when i graduate (last week at his graduation) and my brother was saying he didnt want to come to mine and his girlfriend was like "yes, we have to go. it would be wrong if you didnt go."

and im just like "what makes you think youre invited?"

the thing is, she's a junior in college. you'd think she'd be alittle more mature.

and i guess she counts as a sibling because i found an email (COMPLETELY by accident, i swear) from him mentioning that theyre secretly engaged. so future-sister-in-law. (f*uck)

I love my brothers (especially my little brother; he's cute as a button), but sometimes they just get on my nerves like you wouldn't believe. But, part of love is to hate the ones you love from time to time, which has been a lot lately.

my sister and I drove each other nuts as children......I can honestly say she is now my best friend, and I cherish the time I spend with her.

well, my little brother is 8, a beautiful little boy, annoying as hell, but he'll grow out of it

and my older sister is only 14 months apart, so we're uber close! which is fun for me

I know what you mean about siblings driving you bonkers.. I am in my late 20's and my sister is 6 years younger.. All our lives we haven't gotten along. You would think we would have out grown it, but we never did. My older brother he's 30 and we get along fine.. I adore my youngest sibling he's almost 7, and we have another one on the way.. I guess it just depends on the person.. some personalities clash..

My brother needs to smile more. We're about four years apart and he dosen't really make you all warm and fuzzy inside when he's around. He can really hurt my feelings a lot when he wants to and may whack me with a pillow or two a day but my parents say 'it's just how he expresses his love'. Well if that IS true then I know what expression 'love hurts' means.

My twenty-one year-old brother is now out of college and acting like a four-year-old about moving out and getting a car. He can't stand the fact that my parents want him to maybe stay for the summer and get some money in his bank account. :P His moodswings are getting rather obnoxious.

My only sibling that I live with is 18 months older than me (my sister), and we're pretty close. I have two half siblings, but they're 20 years+ older than me.

my brother puts things in my bed when im asleep. just random things, not spiders or anything. like.. pencils. and cds. i dont know why...

and he also comes up and bites my head when im at the computer. he's so immature. and he's in college. god.
