I have a pudgy Cairn at my feet right now. (Imagine a fat, scruffy Toto.) He looks like a porcupine.


(When I saw this thread title all I could think of was Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy singing "Terrier Style"

He's my roommate's (I have a poodle) but he's my boy too. He is such a cairn, always burrowing and rooting around. So much personality!

my uncle and aunt have a border terrier and a cairn. every time we go to cape cod we walk them along the beach. how fun!

Good morning! Ahh... Westies! We had a Westie who was the sweetest little girl. Unfortunately, she was very sick, but we were able to keep her healthy for many years.

On a happier note, Simba sends his love to Miss Holly, Corine, PalJoey and any other terrier lovers out there... oh to Miss Woo too!

Thank you guys.
I love all terriers. My favorite was my Cairn. I loved a friends Westie named Chumley.
I also adore Norfolk terriers.
Holly is adorable. Thanks Joey. Please post more.
Holly is so cute. Gives Woo some tough competition.

Oh and Simba. She deserves best in show.

I saw the cutest Scottish Terrier named Macaroon.
She was so friendly. I want a dog, but don't have the time to take care of it.

My mom has a 17 year old Cairn Terrier and a 14 year old Jack Russel mix. They are so sweet. The Cairn was found at 6 months old in a dumpster with the chain around her neck so tight that the skin was growing over it and when we found her she still was wagging her tail half alive. Now 17 years later she is doing great. The Jack Russel mix was found in a home with 28 dogs in terrible conditions and really doesn't let many people touch her but she is a cutie!

Not here at work unfortunatly but I will try and have my mom send me a few via e-mail. And yes they are very lucky. But I don't know how to post a photo cause I wanted to put up a photo of my sweet baby that just passed away on Sat but I couldn't figure it out!

I'm so sorry to read that! If you have the photo online (at a photo website or even up under fan photos), right click on the photo and select photo properties. Cut and paste the url from photo properties into the image window or box (not sure of the correct lingo). Hopefully, this will work!

I only have a photo in a folder at home, but I will try and download it as my icon and see if I can do it that way, later when I am at home. Thanks for your condolenses (sp?) You can read the story in the SO sad thread, that is mine about my baby.
