Hey Buddy. I'm bored too - I have fierce ADD. Who's you're "avatar" (I hate that word.) It kind of looks like Star Jones' husband. Did you know she got married? They kept it low profile, so I didn't know if you'd heard.

My personal pet peeve with this message board is the fact that every day, there are atleast 2 (1 if we're lucky) new WICKED threads. Usually one deals with tickets or seating, and the other deals with casting, or who's replacing Idina. Regardless of the subject, they will ALL start out by saying "I know this has been posted a hundred times, so don't yell at me, BUT..."

Then it starts. I can't really take it either. I think we should have 3 boards: THE board, off-topic, and WICKED/BKLYN.

you know...you really do make a lot of sense
it's funny...to begin with i thought..."whoa! this is an angry person to be avoided" but now i really respect what you have to say!

i really think that should happen...because a lot of decent threads are being pushed back and forgotten about because of the overabundance of Wicklyn threads!

What makes it worse is when the subject title is, "WICKED". Like that's gonna tell us what the thread is going to entail. So you, if you're like me, click it, thinking, maybe this will be a thought-provoking post about costuming, or, you know, lighting, just MAYBE...and then it's, "Please don't hate me. I've lurked for a whil but I'm new. When is Indina leaveing and whose replaceing her?"

yes...but intellectual thought and these Wicklyn fans dont seem to go together...just poor spelling and too many capitals
i to have opened many a wicked thread only to find the same question posed a 100th time
and the thing is they are ruining the show for me...sure i havent seen it, but i have heard some of the music and i like it...sure its no sondheim, and doesnt have anything on Ave Q or Caroline, but its not all that bad

Wicked and Brooklyn are both great shows, or at least shows with merit. This board is unconciously undermining their fanbases. It's sad, really.

zoran i totally agree...i mean, when something gets shilled then I want to see it less and less...sure if a show is good than its ok to say so, but when you cannot say so in a clear and coherent manner than your opinion loses some of its worth. I haven't seen either show, but I would like to...I think everyone should experience as much varied theatre as they can.
But if everything I hear is about Wicked and Brooklyn then i will go nuts!
its funny...i live in Australia and people are just discovering Wicked now...and it has the same effect over here as it does to these Wicklyns on the boards...they are all going crazy for it...sure the music is decent, but its not THAT good
