Best movie I've seen so far this year, and Forest Whitaker gives the best film performance I've seen in recent memory. A must see.

He's getting a LOT of great press for this. It'll be interesting to see how the public responds - it's not subject matter that most Americans are going to feel connected to - unfortunately.

I can't wait to see it - I've respected his work for a long time.

I agree. Loved it. Definitely in my Top 3 this year so far.

He looked awesome in the trailer so this is on a must see list

Looks like not only will he get an Oscar nomination but he may be going into it at the favorite

I think he's gonna win, Mr Roxy.

I wanted something when I came to this thread 7 months ago, but I forgot to write it down.

I love this movie. I watched it with my boyfriend when it was in theatres and went two subsequent times (to other times when friends wanted to see it). I read the book after watching the movie(usually it's the other way around for me) and I loved both. Forest did a wonderful job as well as James McAvoy as Nicholas. I'm glad to find that there are some people out there who enjoyed it. Most of the time I read other people say that they didn't like it for this reason or that reason.

I bought it but haven't yet seen/watched it, so I'm glad to hear that people liked it.

I eventually will buy the movie. The book is just as good. Very different (surprise surprise), but very good.
