With Broadway currently littered with "Jukebox Musicals" and film-to-stage adaptations, let's take a moment to appreciate three of the finest composers working today, who constantly present challenging, thought-provoking works.
Bravo, gentlemen!

To Guettel, I raise my glass.
For scores that make you think and weep, beautiful work.

Thank you for this thread. Nice to see there's a generation of composers out there who offer intriguing, complex music that isn't a rehash of a back catalog.
We need more Piazzas, Parade and Wild Parties!

Yazburg as well, perhaps?
Well I love all of these composers, and wish them every future success, and I'm willing to be a muse, if they want!
