The NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases /Gramercy Park

Anyone have experience with this hospital.
My partners mother fell crossing E. 20th St early this week, and he (naturally)has been freaking out all week. He is getting different information from her than he is from his sister, and his mother won't give him the name of her doctor......(don't ask, VERY odd family).

According to info I can find this is a damn good hospital, but if any of you have had experience with it, please PM.

She broke no major bones...there is a problem with her knee, and she's undergoing therapy for it...but apparently she'll be there awhile.
This is a woman who at 86 or 87 leaves Peter Cooper Village every day to go eat, shop, whatever........(and shames me when there are times I don't leave the house for 3 days here).

Any comments appreciated.
