Saw a preview of this on Sunday night and was really disapointed while it remains on of my favorite movies, there was no reason to do the 3D.

The effect just does not work for this film, am sad to say that the best 3D effect in the film was the trailer for "Meet the Robinson's"

Anyone else had a chance to see it yet?

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

I saw the film in 3D. It's true that there really wasn't much use for the 3D tech. Anytime it was snowing or there were ghosts, it looked nice. It was still nice to see the movie on the big screen. For that, it was worth it.

That was the one great thing about it, seeing it on the big screen again.

I only payed $7.00(au) per ticket, but as of yesterday tickets went up to $17.00(au) i would have been miffed if i had payed that much.

This is my favorite movie of all time. Saw it in 3-D which really wasnt much of anything. I wish it would have just been a normal release, but I was glad to see it in theaters no matter what.

I saw it in 3-D this past weekend. While nothing in particular stood out, I still thought the movie looked vibrant and it was just great to see it on the big screen again.

I saw Superman in 3-D as well, and while I liked the film (I even saw it twice), I thought that was more disappointing in 3-D than Nightmare.

Yeah, I agree with what everyone else has said. It was really fun to see it on the big screen again. But I was not happy paying $9 for a matinee just b/c they gave you plastic glasses.
