now, you too can remember how unfunny snl was from the start and that over 30 years there were only about 10 standout sketches so we think the show was funnier in the beginning!

I always liked the fact that they didn't even try to make Chevy Chase look or sound like Gerald Ford and they let Ackroyd play Nixon with a moustache. Nowadays it's all about wigs and prostheics and who can do the best voices.
