I hate SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. It had already been done, better, in MANHUNTER; and, the heroine is an idiot.

Oh them's fighting words, you double chinned whore! Manhunter is a great film too. And Clarice is meant to be a little naive. And coming from someone who listed the deeply flawed Sixth Sense as his favourite film of the 90's, you got a lot of cheek. Bring it!

LOL. There are no flaws in THE SIXTH SENSE. THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS was no better than any number of stupid films where the girl goes off into the dark with a candle. Only thing was, this idiot was too stupid to bring a candle!

Forrest Gump and The Sixth Sense (except for Toni Collette's wonderful performance) are two of the worst films EVER.

Well, it's from a novel with some of the same characters by the same author, so a similarity to Manhunter was inescapable really. As for Sixth Sense, it's my own fault for doing a Film Studies degree. But the flaw is fundamental and obvious and I will happily explain it to you if you like.

I will agree that Toni Collette's performance in Sixth Sense is glorious, particularly the final scene in the car when she says "the question was 'do I make you proud?'". Tremendous.
