Omg, yesterday I was riding my bike and listening to my ipod and I was singing On My Own out loud, heh, and I was wearing a skort, you know that's a skirt with shorts in it, and it was really windy and it kept blowing up and people were honking their horns at me so then I went inside. That was a run-on sentence, I know. But yah, it's not a good idea to ride your bike in a skort, because people will think you're wearing a skirt anyway.

I told you you'd have to make it more interesting so people are provoked to talk! "Howdy." with no introduction of a topic for discussion doesn't entice poeple to want to start talking!
How about, "Howdy! Did anyone see this-and-this in the news today?"; or, "Howdy! You wouldn't be the ker-AZY thing that happened to me today!"
