Very appropriate av, Lexi
I'm 5'1". And up to Adam's like, chest.
^^ Nice place to be.
Hey all, I just posted this in the other thread over in the Broadway forum...does anyone know where the stage door is at the Post Street Theatre (just in case there's no formal meet-and-greet)?
Yeah, not too bad a view.
Ask someone who works there when you get to the show.
Yep, I'll do that. Just thought I'd ask. I saw Spelling Bee there in August, but didn't notice the stage door.
And btw, thanks for the pictures everyone! They make me a very happy lurker.
I still can't believe he may have read what I said about his crotch.
Mind if I ask where the suspicion that he's reading this thread/board came from?
On Monday night, he read aloud a post he had printed out, which has been traced back to the Main Board thread about his gigs.
The mean one... I think it's about the Boston gig. Lemme find it.
re: Adam Pascal concert review

I don't really enjoy Adam Pascal's music but I decided to go to the concert since I work at the theater. event The audience was filled with his usual type of fan-teenage Rent girls. Some people from the college came (mostly the club that sponsored the event-the ones in the yellow shirts).
I found the music kind of dull and it was really hard to understand any of the lyrics. Many of the songs sounded almost the same. I thought the burping thing during "Maria" was kind of funny until I heard from my friend who went to his Sunday concert
and said he did the same thing. It is kind of lame for him to ruin a really nice song by burping just to get a laugh. One random accident was funny-this was just icky.
I hated the way he sang "Maybe This Time" from Cabaret-it was like a cheesy lounge singer. He was so over-affected while he sang the song it was laughable.
Larry had a nice voice. I liked how clear it was-he didn't try to sing like a rockstar like Adam does. I liked the fact that I could understand the song and would look foward to hearing Larry sing again
Adam was a really nice guy and a good entertainer for his typical type of audience. I got to talk to him and Larry for a bit and that was nice. I just don't care for the way he sings.
wow. Did he respond to any of the comments specifically?
(I guess there's a relatively good chance he's been here at some point then. :-/)
I dunno what else he said; someone posted about this on LJ. He apparently read it in like, a faux-British accent, so he at least took it lightly.
Maybe there will be highlights of some of the more colorful posts from this thread at his next show.
I would laugh so hard that I'd fall out of my seat.
Then I'd go hide under it.

If Adam prints out what Emcee said about his crotch and reads it to the Queens crowd, I might... I don't know. Die, maybe? NOT to give him any ideas. He should give us some sort of a shoutout though, especially considering we've probably provided him with hours of entertainment.
And yes, he apparently read that review aloud in a snobby British professor accent. I can't imagine that he took it too seriously if he was willing to poke fun at it. I still can't believe he probably read my review too, considering it was far nicer and only a few posts down.
I think he should wear a costume, Halloween is approaching.
YOU would die? What about me?! Haha.
Mm. Nun!

Haha. I would laugh. so. hard.
Nun!Adam!
(oh crap, he probably saw the nun by now)
aw, poor Adam. I'm glad he took the negative review as a joke, though. Which thread was that posted in?
Aw, it's the return of Nun!Adam. (I still think Nun!Adam on the Cliff is really entertaining. Why, you may ask? I have no idea.)
No, he's definitely saving Nun!Adam for when he comes to Wisconsin in January. It's freezing there. And he also knows how much it would be appreciated.

It was posted on the Main Board

He's a good sport, you shouldn't take everything seriously.
He might just read aloud a story. A tale of true love that will never die. To set the mood for Cybele's song ... the story of the pot and the love of its kettle.
He could go really far back into theses threads - Spork!!!
This thread has problem provided so much material for his shows, Adam won't know where to begin.
