To be honest, I've only seen it on Broadway once (I'll hopefully see it quite a few more times when I move to NYC), so I pictured the movie scene differently than what actually occurs on stage. I guess I just don't care for it due to my own personal imagination and biases. Heh.
I think it's confusing because that clip was so short. The first "Goodbye Love, just came to say ..." is sung to Roger. The second one is kinda to herself I found, calling after him.

So, I officially am spending MORE money on Amazon- to preorder the DVD! They have a really good deal- it's supposed to be $28.96 but you only have to pay $15.98 (with tax with standard shipping it was $18.96). Okay, anyway, so, order there because I noticed that on the VH1 site it costs like $21.49.
I hate the Canadian Dollar. I look at all your prices and get excited about how cheap everything is.
As someone else pointed out, though, Mimi watching Roger's car pull away would have made a nice transition into WYO. It's so abrupt as it is now.

I'm sorry! I know how you feel, I went to Europe 2 summers ago and the Euro confused me so much, and depressed me because I ended up paying about twice as much as I thought I was.
I edited my post, I was thinking the same thing Chloe.
It's great when you go to Canada though..everything is cheaper in American dollars.
Exactly. In American dollars.
Thanks, opiv, but I'm not sure which of my posts you were responding to.
Heh. When my family went to Canada, we were just there for like 20 minutes and my parents didn't want to bother with soveniers or anything. So my dad went into a bank and gave them a $5 and asked to have it converted into Canadian coins. I still have them
I have about $5 American in my closet. I always think I have more, because your $1 is a bill, whereas our smallest bill is the $5.
I once got a Canadian coin with my change when I bought something. I was kinda pissed because I got change I can't use, but it's a cool little keepsake.
Here's another treat, which some of you already have:
Nothing Like Me
Look at me.
Is this what you want?
What you get ain't what you see.
What you get may be nothing like me.
You think you know.
You think you got the balls to show
Everybody what they want to see.
I'll slam your head into this wall
Because you said that you've seen it all
Then tell your friends how cool I am.
I am a sacrificial lamb.
And when I cut myself
Will you pay to see me bleed?
When I starve
Will you be the one to feed?
And when I fall
Will you turn and leave?
I can paint you an illusion
Make it look like anything
I'll be your lover, mother, father
Just tell me, did I disappoint you?
Is this not what you asked for?

We use American change all the time. No one cares. That's how I got most of the money.

Yaaay, loonies and toonies.
Hey, guys! I hope the weekend is going well for everyone. I had such a great time last night, hanging out with my sister and some of our mutual friends. All of us country music fans. My sister's boyfriend plays guitar, so he played and one of my friends and I sang every country song he could play. And I just got home about an hour ago, ugh. SO tired.
Allie, don't wear yourself out! BWW Idol is your first vocal priority!
I hate that I can get Canadian coins back from vending machines, but I can't use it in vending machines. How does that even make sense?
It bothers me all the change we have, it makes my wallet heavy.

Chloe, thanks for sharing! I think its interesting how varied some of this is: vocally, lyrically, musically...
You're welcome - and just to be clear, this is not the same song I put on yousendit a couple of days ago, but I've already sent it via AIM to a couple of people.

We did Whiskey Lullaby about five times. And all of Tim and Faith's duets. I need to get out more! Thanks for the concern, skittles.
And thanks for the song, Chloe!
I was talking about how you said that you were thinking that Mimi sang Goodbye Love to Roger on the stage show.
Argg Im confused
It's confusing because she sings it twice, the first time to him.
Anyone know the a song Adam sang with the lyrics "We'll make it through today"?
So, if I upload it will you guys talk? *pokes*
