Chloe, yes, Nitebeat. I searched the listings earlier in the evening. I knew I had CN8, but had no idea what channel it was on. Being the logical person I am, I checked channel 8 first, before I started my search.

The show is over at 11, and then they'll be driving back to the city. I think it's a few hours drive.
It's a pretty straight forward drive once they hit the Parkway and the Turnpike. At that hour, shouldn't take more than an hour and a half, if that, depending on how much of a leadfoot driver wrq is.

I don't remember, it was 8 years ago when I spent three days in New Jersey and made a day trip to NYC. Lets pretend I was close with my guess.
I'm surprised Cablevision has a Comcast channel, but I just checked all gazillion channels I have here on Cablevision of LI, and of course they don't have it. Anyway, if bwaygirl's Nitebeat is an hour instead of a half hour, it could be because she's not on Comcast and Cablevision is doing things differently.
I'm getting a live feed of their sports broadcast. Where is that coming from? Hmmm...
Heh Sarah, New Jersey is a fairly big state. There are parts of it that are only a few minutes from Manhattan, and other parts that are more than 2 hours away. For some reason, a lot of my parents' friends live in the "more than 2 hours away" part.
It must be because Sports Pulse is on now, Tracie. It's forty minutes until Nitebeat.
CS, you very well could've been! Depending where in Jersey you are, it could take a few hours to get to the city.
I just wanted to let the others know they might not have that long of a wait to get a review.
Chloe, I keep checking to make sure the channel doesn't share time with another channel! I've had that happen to me a couple times. Thought I could tape something, and at around 11 or 12 at night, a different channel came on the air!

All I know is I was in New Jersey.
Don't worry bdwaygirl, I'm hardly ever serious.

Checked TV Guide online again. The grid is now telling me a different show is on at 12. Looks like I'm only getting 1/2 hour of Nitebeat. I'm still taping for the hour, though.

Is anyone else still getting the "programming unavailable" screen when trying to load the video feed?
No, just my usual overall nonfunctionality. Some people on IMDb are getting the sports program though. I wonder if this has anything to do with what browser you use.
I got a "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the server is not available (for example, the server is busy or not online)." error message in Windows Media Player.
I got that error message, and then I tried again and it's working now.

There are two links floating around...the one that says its out of Mid-Atlantic/Philly isn't working. The New England/Boston link is airing the sports show...(if that helps anyone...I was on the wrong one)

I tried the New England feed, and got a different WMP error message:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available."

Thanks, Amber. I'm now getting a sports feed about minor league baseball. Hopefully the Adam segment starts in 5 minutes.
Nothing I've trried works for me. When the Player window comes on, it's technically on "play" but nothing happens. When I hit "stop," it says "stopped" and then refuses to go into play ever, ever again. The play and pause buttons respond, but it's still says "stopped." Same when I try to do it from the Play menu.
It's not letting me record the live feed. I'll see if I can get it to work, though. No promises.
I'm watching baseball stuff. I hope it starts soon.
I just saw this on the Rent LJ. It's from someone's post about the St. Joseph's signing:
"I think I like him so much because he dresses and looks just like Isaak Hanson."
A part of my soul just died.
Yay, I finally got it to work!

Yay Adam!
Yeah, I saw the Isaac Hanson comment...I do love Hanson, I won't lie...but that person is an idiot on so many levels. She needs to have her head examined...
Eeee, they showed clips of Beautiful Song and One Song Glory in the intro segment!
