Chloe, I do like how IMDB isn't so blatantly hostile, but with that seems to come so much stupidity. I try to wade through the mediocre posts because there are a few intelligent posters, but unfortunately, the quality seems to still be dropping.
I mean: "adam is.... GORGEOUS. IN THE MOVIE, WITH HIS LONG HAIR, HE IS SO SEXY. THE END."
That kind of stuff doesn't make me cringe so much because I spent time reading the post, but it just makes me so embarassed for the person posting it.
Regardless of my dislike of IMDB, you're right, it's great that people are appreciating the more subtle parts of his performance. I've said this many times on this board before, but I went into the Rent movie with no real bias in Adam's favor (other than enjoying his voice on the OBCR) and came out thinking he gave a performance on par with everyone else. Oh well... I'm beating a dead horse.
That said, I'm burning a copy of Civilian for my friend. She was smitten with him throughout the movie, so I thought this would be a nice gesture. Granted, it would be even better if she could buy it, but she's cheap and rarely buys CDs in the first place (and has no idea how to work iTunes).
ETA: HI ASHLEY!

IMDb always give me a good laugh. But if I stay on too long, then it makes my head hurt.

I do believe I am off to watch the extras on the Lady and the Tramp DVD (I love this stuff that Disney has been putting on their DVD's!). Bye all!
Netflix is my new anti-drug.
IMDB makes my brain hurt. It's too much effort wading through all the stupidity to find something legitimate to to discuss most of the time. And the amount of misinformation being passed around there has reached epic proportions.
*waves to Ashley*
I need Netflix badly.
I think some of the IMDb posters are not so much unintelligent as bad at expressing themselves in writing.
I'm at the part in the documentary now where they show some of the screen test footage. Love that shot of Adam, Anthony and Wilson where Adam is looking way cool and the other two are sort of bopping around.
A lot of them are probably quite young, too. Not like I should be talking, as all of the original Rentheads have so kindly let me know!
I love that part Chloe.
It reminds me of that face he made at Anthony in the blog video.
ETA: A lot of you are pretty young too, but of course quite exceptional!

I wish that I was older. So many people don't take me seriously because I'm young.
When I first joined, I don't think I shared my age right away, for that reason.
Im preety young, but the fact that I can start driving in 2 months makes me feel a little older.
Apparently for awhile, people thought I was a twentysomething gay man. I'm still not sure whether that's a good thing, or a bad thing.
That's funny skittles.
I look older than I am, so I can usually fit in with older people. Sometimes, I feel like people my age are really immature, and that makes me feel like a hypocrite. :-/
Before I had much presence on here, I was constantly being pegged as a gay guy.
Woo!
I just got back from a community production of La Boheme, and it was great! It turns out that the man who played Shaunard (I think) was also in a production of Sweeney Todd.
Okay, I need to calm down now...
In case anyone was wondering the Jell-o shots are doing their job .
*sigh* That movie's just so great. You know, Tramp was the first...man...well, dog...that I had a crush on. He's just so charming. Believe it or not, I swooned when I first saw him all those years ago.
Okay, so I swoon still. Shoot me.
I'm glad it was great guitargeek!
Don't fall over, CS.
Had you seen La Boheme before? It's been a long time since I have.
Haven't fallen yet, there's a lot of stumbling though.
hah. Careful!
Bartender, I think she's had her limit!
