I'm still laughing over it. Hehehe
Yes, I'm pinay. And I'm proud of it!

The thing is, for Adam to ever be Tarzan there'd have to be a return of.... *trails off ominously*

I haven't looked at that thread because I had the feeling it would make me want to throw things at people. However, Adam in a loincloth is at least as good a mental image as Adam in a toga

Hehe, yea don't say it.

On second thought, toga > loincloth

Yes, but he's not really like... buff enough right now to play Tarzan, is he? I mean, broadness-wise.

MANBOOBS
sorry, I felt a strange urge to say it.

The casting people said they wanted a swimmer type physique, not a muscle man.
That's another one of those useless facts clogging up my brain.
ETA: But I can't see Adam doing acrobatics and swinging through vines. He's just not that athletic.

He's not... I dunno. Not the right body type.

I don't mean to interrupt the wonderful talk of Adam's loincloth, but I have a favor to ask of you. By no means feel obligated to do it, but I am writing a paper about how AIDS has effected theatre and the theatre community, and I was wondering if those of you who have seen or read any AIDS related plays (TNH, AiA, etc.) would be willing to tell me in a few sentences or so how (or if) the experience was different than other theatre experiences, and how it/ they effected you. If you could pm me or IM me, that would be fantastic. Thanks.
Back to almost-naked Adam talk...

Yeah, Tarzan bouncing in the general vicinity of the vines probably wouldn't work so well

I've seen the poncho pictures. Sadly, it's kinda a Canadian thing, so I can't fault him completely for it. Plus, it was a clothing mishap, underneath he was still gorgeous.

Ashley, you should post the hilarious Cary PM you sent me (complete with all the links) here.
Speaking of Cary fans, some of them are a bit defensive on CB. I said that it was wise of Ava to let her fans know what's exactly going on with her, unlike what Cary did. People were quick to tell me to chill out, it wasn't any of my business, I shouldn't care, and it didn't affect the turnout at his gig. All I ever said was that it was an unwise move on his part, not that I still have a burning desire to know the reason behind his departure or that it would have a huge effect on the number of people who go to his shows. However, it's probably not the best idea in showbiz to let rumors such as the ones about him spread.

CBer's a little defensive? How can this be? Sadly, if Jonathan Larson under another name started posting on CB, he would quickly be driven away with hoots of derision for his enthusiasm and idealism.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I did get the deleted scenes added to the movie, but I'm having a hell of a time exporting the movie file. My computer's being difficult and it says that it will take over 6 hours to export. I'll let it run overnight and hopefully it will be good to go tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

CB seems a little scary.
Lexi, I was SO SADDD that the links to Cary's awful outfits didn't show up as actual pictures, I guess because they're not .JPGs or something. I'll repost the PM here if anyone really wants, but a few people requested a CC on it when I made it last night.

I'm really not surprised about the six hours. It must be a huge file, tip.
I hope I didn't offend anyone with my comments on CB. There are certainly plenty of nice people there, but it seems to be dominated by a few bullies.
