*cries at all the cute*
I'm off to watch the last two installments of Broadway: The American Musical on PBS (WGBH!). YAY!
If it was a puppy I would've awwed. But I hold a lot of animosity towards cats. I think I spelled that right, if not, deal with it (Rach, I'm looking at you).

I know it's just a result of Mackintosh looking to make an easy profit, but I'm excited for the Les Mis limited engagement. It's my favorite show. It'll start just after my first school year in NY, so this is fiinally something I'll be able to see after missing all of Anthony's book singings and Adam's shows.
I saw the tour cast in October. I love that show.
I just got home and read that article about Les Mis. I AM SO EXCITED! :) I saw it on Broadway a long time ago but was disappointed I never went back. Woohoo!
the thread is slowww tonight :/
Writing another essay. I finally found a good book to get info from. I had to toss three aside.
Here's a semi on topic question ... the Lachey guy that is on Dancing With the Stars...He was the one in Rent, right?

Yes. He played Mark.
What about a Precious Little Meltdown thread.
He was my favourite from 98 degrees. He doesn't quite fit as Mark though.
Lexi, you need to give me time. I tend to forget I have other windows open. .
I'm excited about the Les Mis limited engagement because I wasn't able to catch the tour when it was in DC this winter. I've never seen it on stage before.
Awww, kittie!

Hah! That's the first thing that came to mind when I read the Meltdown Thread's title.
Sarah, it's for the best that I don't spend 4+ hours in the chat every night anyway! I should probably attempt to finish The Taming of the Shrew.
I'm just working on a paper, looking for distractions.
I'm so annoyed about Les Mis. Just because AN HOUR before that was posted, I bought a ticket for the touring cast in Philly. I barely had time to go down there that weekend as is to meet up with my sister, but I was staying later than necessary to be able to see the show because I thought I wouldn't have another chance to see a professional production for a long time. Grrr. How was I supposed to know? This was COMPLETELY out of the blue!

I've seen Les Mis twice, but I was very young both times. The music is so brilliant. Ashley, we'll have to go together!
Is anyone into Miss Saigon? I have the cast recording but never really listened to it. Perhaps I should give it a try.
I really enjoyed Miss Saigon Lexi. I just found the music last week and I really enjoyed it. It's got Lea Salonga, and she was like 19 in it.
I've seen Les Mis twice. When I was about 14, and last year. The first time I was supposed to see Colm Wilkinson, but they were waiting til we were all seated to tell us he wasn't coming. Of course, at the time I had no idea who he was.
I enjoyed Miss Siagon. I only had the highlights album and I wasn't addicted to the internet at the time, so I went in not knowing a lot about it. I really enjoyed it, though. I just got the full cast album out of the library because I can't find my highlights CD.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWW, that kitten is so cute!
I don't think I've ever seen Les Mis (unless I saw it when I was like 10 and I just don't remember), but that's pretty cool what they're doing with the limited engagement. I'll be sure to go see it.
I seriously must be the most accident-prone person ever. I somehow managed to stab myself under one of my fingernails with one of the bristles on my hairbrush while I was brushing my hair, and it hurts like hell.
Aww, that's annoying, Skittles! Were you going to be in Philly that weekend anyway? If nothing else, you could probably try to sell your tickets, but I've heard that the touring cast is very good.
The music IS brilliant, and I'd definitely be up for that! I'm going to try to make it to NYC more often if I can. Oh, and I also know absolutely nothing about Miss Saigon. That was my number one in that thread about "Shows you're ashamed to admit that you know nothing about." I don't know that I've ever heard anything from it don't even know the plot, which seems so strange for such a long-running musical. I need to check it out, clearly.
I *cough*d/l*cough* Miss Saigon. Some of the songs need tweaking as they've cut off. But I enjoy it.
I felt silly listening to the full cast recording last week and realizing I didn't remember the most basic parts of the story. I guess I just remembered it being good. Go figure. :)
AHHHHH! YIP-YIPS!! Ohmygosh. Are you really going to get him to sign one, Em?! I will die.
