re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

I like the jacket the best...

Edit: I'm watching What Not to Wear and the woman's name is Maria. I keep thinking about Nun!Adam.

It reminds me of the SLC Punk hair.

I'm mot upset about not having April's suicide scene, for some reason.

I'm not really upset, either. I think it would have helped explain his character a bit more, but some people treat the lack of that scene as this horrible atrocity that f*cked over the entire film. Come on.

ARGH. The day of typos continues. I meant to type "most," not "not"... but "mot" somehow turns out to be an exact hybrid between them. Sorry, I'm just really tired.

I think her suicide scene would've been too much for the movie. It would have explained more...but wasn't nessesary. Ruined the movie? geez.

OH, haha. Well, in that case, I still can't say I'm too broken up by the lack of the actual suicide scene, but maybe I'm just far too easy to please.

Although... I honestly think that a lot of my generally positive feelings toward the Rent movie are because I didn't go in with unrealistically high expectations as some who followed each step of the film did. I remember when my friend mentioned to me in the spring that they were making a Rent movie and that we'd have to see it together when it was released, but my response was more of, "Oh, that's cool" instead of immediately wondering about every aspect of the film. It seems like a lot of people almost talked themselves into not liking the film.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm talking about my opinions on the movie in general, not specifically on this scene. Ashley, none of the above was directed at you. Heh.

I really like that pic of Adam in the tight pants.

I see there's lots of Rentsecret drama to catch up on. That's awful that someone would make a secret like #5. *hugs Em*

On a brighter note, my mission to not get my secret posted was successful, and they even said I asked very nicely re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

Some people may have gotten themselves too psyched up, but I also think others just have a very different Rent in their heads than the movie turned out to be. (I loved it myself, and I followed it every step of the way since it was announced.) Shows that appeal to so many people have a lot of different sides to them, and inevitably some aspects will be more emphasized than others in a new interpretation.

Em, you could always follow the trend and take a nap. Though, it wouldn't do any good since it's almost midnight...

I'll probably go to sleep soon...

(I'm using elipses quite frequently today.)

BG, I noticed that note about someone asking nicely. Good for you.

I don't think they look skinny, more like slender but muscular.

I was also wondering if Ballerina Adam was from here. Also no one's mentioned #22, though that might be because it's practically unreadable. The one about being jealous of any other fans of Adam, and not liking Rosario simply because she got to play Mimi.

I think the huge boots make his legs look skinnier as well.

22 is a bit on the pathetic side, but I never know if statements like those are partially tongue-in-cheek or dead serious.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

I noticed that BG, and wondered if it was you.

Maybe now certain other secrets posters will now figure out that you can ask for your secret not to be posted. You know, in case you were just angry then and your feelings have changed now.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

As I said over there, if I have a dream about Ballerina!Adam (to go along with my Figureskater!Adam and Mimi!Adam dreams), I am so blaming whoever made that.

Em, I'll PM it to you (as well as to anyone else who wants to see it).
