ARGH. The day of typos continues. I meant to type "most," not "not"... but "mot" somehow turns out to be an exact hybrid between them. Sorry, I'm just really tired. OH, haha. Well, in that case, I still can't say I'm too broken up by the lack of the actual suicide scene, but maybe I'm just far too easy to please.
Although... I honestly think that a lot of my generally positive feelings toward the Rent movie are because I didn't go in with unrealistically high expectations as some who followed each step of the film did. I remember when my friend mentioned to me in the spring that they were making a Rent movie and that we'd have to see it together when it was released, but my response was more of, "Oh, that's cool" instead of immediately wondering about every aspect of the film. It seems like a lot of people almost talked themselves into not liking the film.
Edit: Just to clarify, I'm talking about my opinions on the movie in general, not specifically on this scene. Ashley, none of the above was directed at you. Heh.
