Well now I do. I just Googled it. I have a long interview about Rent, w/ Seth Rudetsky. He's funny.

Thanks, Chloe. I'm sure that I've seen that article before, but it never hurts to read a good article twice.
How is everyone tonight?
If it's the interview I'm talking about, it's also about Cabaret, Aida, the Tony's and Adam's childhood as well.
I'm good SD. :) I have my last English paper to do tonight; we are doing creative stuff for the rest of the year. And I'm listening to The Last 5 Years.
How are you?

I have so much work to do, but I'm sitting in bed watching the Yankee game on ESPN instead.
I really dislike "creative" assignments for English -- well, not all of the, but I cannot stand wrting poetry. I'm horrible at it; I think so much of writing a good poem has to do with innate ability.
I hate when we have to write stories for English. Bleh. I'm so glad that I don't have to do that this year.
I'm not bad, Lexi.
I'm pretty sure I've never seen that Theater Week article before. It's probably the one you remembered where Adam talks about yelling at people.

I know, Mandi. Short stories are the worst. I've written a good amount of short stories before, many of which were horrible, but I hate composing them for a grade.
Yes, Chloe, that's the one. :)
I hate it even more when I'm forced to read them in front of the class.
Hooray for the Yankees being on ESPN, huh SD? :) I was so excited that they were on yesterday AND today! Mike even pitched and won last night which made it even more fun!
I'm watching them on YES, because the ESPN announcers annoy the sh*t out of me.

They just showed a view of Manhattan on the ESPN broadcast, and I seriously got the chills.
I still haven't completely realized that I'm going to be living there soon.
There's nothing like NYC. When are you moving out here?

Mid-August, I believe. I'll also be in NY for orientation for a week this summer, but I'm still not sure when that is.
I can't wait.

Bleh. I went to click on that article Chloe posted to see if I'd read it before. First, I couldn't remember my password for that site. I figured I'd just re-register, but I couldn't register with my one email address because someone from that email address already had that name (duh, me). I didn't want to use my real email address, so I did the "forgot my password" thing. They send you an email with a link that you have to click on, but Verizon is stupid and doesn't have embedded links, so I had to copy and paste it. The link just said "A new password has been sent" which seems stupid, I mean, they could have just sent me an email with a new password from the beginning, but whatever. So I go back to my email, get the new password, log in, click on the link Chloe posted and- the pop-up block on my family's computer won't let me click on the picture to blow it up and read. *headdesk*
So, did y'all give up on this thread since I wasn't here or something? 2nd page?!
We just all started to hate Adam.
Skittles, that story is the epitome of why computers can drive you crazy. Here's the article. Sorry for the discrepancy in size, but that's how Cassie did it, I guess because of the picture on the first page.

Aw, that's even cruel to joke about. Haha
My dad was watching the Cold Case episode when I got home. He didn't realize until I told him he was Adam...
hah, he really didn't do self-censorship in that one, did he? So blunt!

"The way I behave in my life" -- the way he phrased that makes it sound as if he were huffing rubber cement daily prior to Rent. Heh.
Well, he probably *was* inhaling something not too healthy or legal back then. In a NY Times article from around this time, he talked about avoiding greasy food, alcohol and cigarettes.
He seems to have learned to be a little more discreet, but his impulse toward bluntness probably hasn't changed.
Just checking in, but it seems like not a lot has happened here for awhile. I'm going to go babysit soon. I'm really excited because this 1 year old I'm babysitting for NEVER cries!
Baby!!
"this 1 year old I'm babysitting for NEVER cries!"
Dancingqueen, you should probably *knock on wood*...
God, I wish I had something new and exciting to post.
(for everyone who clicked on the thread hoping I had posted something new and exciting - sorry)
