Zola is putting the same message on all the musical-related topics that reside on the off-topic board, guys, including the one with the contest that the administrator put up. I wouldn't worry about it. Although here's a question. If the Raul Esparza love thread is over on the main message board, how come this one is off-topic?
That's all that really matters, then. Your mom just needs to learn to be more understanding. I have the same problem. Whenever I try to enlighten strangers to the wonderfulness of Rent, they cut me off after just twenty minutes. People these days...
Overkill? I do not know this, 'overkill' of which you speak. Now if you'll excuse me, I am off to go buy tickets to my sixth showing of Rent. And then I'm going to listen to the OBCR, it's been an entire two hours. And reread the book. Would you like to explain this overkill thing?
yeah, i saw les mis 6 times. after the 3rd time my parents were like 'if you want to see it more than 3 times, you have to earn the money', so i did! i wish that i could see AIDA with adam at least 1 more time!

Emcee, SO glad you are going back. I saw AIDA 5x. - all with different people. My sister finally admitted that she wanted to see it (she doenst like to admit that things i like can be good). And I believe we are going to try and go on the 27th. Thats to soon to the closing date. I think I am going to cry.

I AM NOW "TGIF!"
Before I leave for another day or two, I just HAD to tell everyone that I saw AIDA last night. With Adam. And it rocked my socks. It was the first time I had seen him live, so I was very happy. But he didn't come to the stage door, that stinker. Oh well, I've decided that I'll just write him a letter.
when i saw aida toward the begining of it's run i had just started really listening to rent and i was a lot younger and when he came out and sang his first few words i was like "oh my god, it's rodger!" and my mom said "sssshhhh!" i was younger - hence the talking which i would never do now just for the record - but i was so excited. that's my little story. i love adam pascal!
