See, she's shirking on her duties already. Can't even recite a resume.
*clucks tounge disapointedly*
I think I blocked out the Alamo. Much as I love Patrick, baaaaaaaaaad movie.
And the Adam love isn't going anyplace. Ever.

We'll be taking away your right to throw flip-flops if it does. And you can forget about your little house in DeNial entirely. I'll be siccing those you-know-what's on you.
But that's only if you should mess up any little piece of information about Adam. And we know you know better. Right?
I'm sorry!

Poor Emcee...the things you endure for the men you love...
Enough sympathy.
Insomniak, keep an eye on her...she's supposed to send someone to Bloomies on Thu to see Patrick and the rest of the POTO film cast...for some reason her academics take priority. Sheesh. Go figure. LOL!
But, we are proud of our Emcee for being a responsible student.

School over hot men? Emcee! I'm suprised at you... beacon, what can we do about this?
I will do my best, but you've got to help me keep her in line... the things some fangirls won't do. *sigh* Is he not worth an F or two?
I'm gonna try to re-configure a couple of things... I may be able to make it.
And I've made more than a few sacrifices for my number one - don't make me feel guilty! *innocent look*

*sigh*
I'll just have to trust you to be good in my absence... see you tommorrow, chica.
I'll be good, I promise!
**look of complete and utter confused** since when does anything take priority over hot men???
Just read through everyone's comments about the show. This is the first chance I've had to get online, since the early AM hours on Saturday. Don't have much to add to what's already been said. Just my "WOW!!"
Ah, I lied. Couple things. When we got there, it was early and people weren't being let in yet. A couple of us had to use the restroom, so we went into the Public Theatre. We walked inside the lobby and we heard Adam doing the sound check. We proceeded to the ladies room, which is the same ladies room used by Joe's Pub. As you walk there from the Public Theatre, you pass by the curtain that Adam came through to get on stage. The curtain was partially open and as we walked by, we could see him. He was rehearsing in jeans. No Emcee, NOT the sparkly jeans. We went about our business and walked back towards the Public Theatre. We could still hear him, but didn't see him that time.
One of my friends wanted to get a bottle of water, so we walked over to the little concession stand in the lobby of The Public. It was taking too long, so I walked away and went over to check out the flyers of upcoming events, plus I wanted to be closer to hear the sound check better. While I'm looking at some of the flyers, I heard some very familiar notes. I walked away from the pamphlet area and over to the door next to the box office, which also leads to Joe's Pub, but I believe is a fire exit. He was starting Glory. I got so excited, since I didn't think he would do it this time. I figured he only did it at the Kean gig since Daphne was there. My friends were finally finished, so they came over to listen also.
I couldn't wait to get inside and for the show to start. We were at a table by the stage and were able to read the set list taped to the floor and spent some of the time trying to figure out what the letters after some of the songs meant. When he came through the curtain, I think my heart skipped a beat. After all, it's been over a month since I saw him live and in person. I wasn't able to go to the CD Signing. As usual, I was spellbound. When he asked if anyone had any questions, I found my tongue and was the one that piped up and asked if he'd be doing any more T.V. appearances. I happen to wonder about that when I was rewatching my tape of the appearance from Thursday. One of my friends was the one that mentioned him losing too much weight. She was also the one that asked him what the little letters after songs on the set list meant, to which he said something like not being able to share that with us, it was his own shorthand. When he made mention that he was hungry and wanted something to eat, another at our table offered him our french fries.
I wish the show could've gone on much, much longer. Even though he did all of Civilian, I'm sure we all would have happily sat there while he went through Model Prisoner and whatever else he felt like doing ! I went backstage after the show, just to say hi and to tell him what a great show it was. He was his usual gracious self, and I got a hug which made the ole heart skip a beat again.
I was looking around for you guys, but couldn't find you. Were you hiding?

AHH! Great post! We almost went to meet him after, but decided to skip... next time I will, just to say goodbye and wish him luck in SF, I guess.
I want to see jeans! ANY jeans! *grumbles* And I want a hug. How do I go about achieving that?
I didn't think he'd do Glory again... I'm glad he did, and that he remembered the words.
What did he say about your french fries? That's really cute.
We were up on top - didn't see you, either.
Can't wait to do it again!
gah...
*sits in corner and pouts****
it's sucks to not be in NY
I just dropped off my film! Pray for good pictures in a couple of hours...

"What did he say about your french fries? That's really cute."
I think he shook his head or just smiled and shook his head. I honestly don't remember.
"And I want a hug. How do I go about achieving that?"
Maybe when you wish him luck with the movie, etc. you'll get that hug.

I have to say, I don't know if I'm a fan of the hair! It's a bit TOO unkempt for me...
bdwaygirl, so maybe if I act really cute and really sad when I wish him luck, he'll give me a hug?! YAY! He's got to recognize me by now.
I love his hair. The more I look the more I like.
