I think the Cabaret closing is the one I posted - it's sweet. Nice that they're friends, and I have the impression Adam is friends with Norbert Leo Butz too. Broadway is a small world.

Lastnight I finally got to see the "Under Pressure" video perfectly clear, and WOW. Adam...
But did that mean the Sh-k-boom Room doesn't do that anymore, since it was the closing night?
And do you think the bass player in the background is the same bass player from Adam's current band?

Yeah, that's how it had always worked for me, but just lastnight it was fine for some reason.
Adam is having such a fun time and is so rhythmic! And of course, the pants!
In that referrence to NotThatGirl's fanfiction that ponine has in her signiture, is that about the sparkly pants?, 'cause they seriously do look like they've been stolen from one of us!
When they forget the words and when Michael yanks the pants are the best parts! I believe that was right after Adam left Aida in June '03, the second time I saw him in it.

The Sh-k-Boom room is basically (I *think this is right) a series of concerts they do once a year, or a couple of times. This particular one that you saw the video for was the Summer Concert Series, and that was the last one, which is why it's "Closing Night." They haven't done one of those gigs in a while, with a lot of artists all getting together, but obviously Sh-k-Boom has arranged all of Adam's Civilian gigs. That video, though.... never ever ever fails to crack me up. I love when Michael pulls Adam's pants. That video was taken in either July or August of '03, right after Adam left AIDA, so yeah, addict, you're right. I almost went to that.

And gah. I looooove Lisa Brescia. I got all warm and fuzzy when she said that.
