I'm a lady! How nice...
My morning is... okay, nia. My fever's a bit better, but my throat glands are all swollen and it's a b*tch to talk or swallow, which means I haven't eaten much. I'm sure I'll get over it soon enough, with enough rest and stuff. I'm supposed to have a presentation Monday morning, though, and now I might have to re-schedule that, due to the fact that I just can't talk right now.

Well, you lazy buggers, this muppet is at work already and YES, I am very tired *death stare*.
And I can't believe Amasis caught me, I'm so going to be in trouble. Amasis, I was already logged off when the stunt casting thread caught my attention and YOU know how I feel about stunt casting.
Anyway, and since all of the lazy buggers are still fast asleep, I can basically talk to myself here. At least, I don't get any cheeky back-chat from Amasis or Nia or any poking from Emcee. *sigh* How peaceful this is.

I live to brighten your mornings, QM. It's one of my missions in life.
*edit: I just saw that thread titled 'Tarzan - another 'sexy' Israeli Musical' and almost choked my tonsils out... Imagine if the upcoming Disney production has a similar, er, design. I think my fever just got worse just from seeing that.

And in my constant mission to brighten your morning, please refer to my edit above, and tell me that the thread didn't just make you feel all dreamy.
In the meantime, please excuse me... I need a moment to bang my head against the wall.

You know me too well....
Of course, I checked out that thread the second it appeared. And of course, ever since checking it out I see Adam running around in a loin cloth in my day dreams. If I was directing the musical the loin cloth would be a lot shorter and there would be nothing around the chest area though. YAY for more skin.

*GASP* No, I never saw them! Show them to me please. I WANTS THEM!
I cannot cope with the wig, I want a more modern Tarzan please.
*mind continues to boggle*

The site that had it displayed is not up anymore -- it's been a long while since I saw it... Let's just say that, if the Atlanta design were kept, Adam's skirt would have been above his knee. Not captain-like at all.
And with that, I'm going to say good night :). Have a good day, QM.

'Adam's skirt would have been above his knee. Not captain-like at all.'
Very campy disco captain like though. Just imagine all the turns he would have done and the skirt would have been up flying.
QM
whoa whoa whoa-- your talking about aida? a short skirt? on adam? this is news...
We weren't talking about Adam in a short skirt. I was mentioning the Atlanta workshop, which had a different costume designer. Radames was played by Hank Stratton in that production.
QM - I refuse to imagine that. I just can't!
Really shutting off the machine now...

" Radames was played by Hank Stratton in that production."
who the heck is that?? well, thank god they got adam to play the role! it's a perfect fit!
thats hank stratton...
if adam wasnt radames, i wouldnt be here today because i would have had no idea who he was.. well this is quite a thought.
What's wrong with you girls, not wanting to think about Adam's flying skirt? I haven't thought about anything else for the last few hours. Yes, the gutter is very cozy this morning, thanks for asking.
