BOO!!!

I'M BACK, GUYS! Litle shop was on Friday and Saturday, and it was AMAZING! i wish you guys all saw it-i think it was the best high school musical out of all the schools in the area this year. maybe i'll put up some more videos if anybody's interested. :)

so, it's GOOD to be back! now that marching band and the musical are over, i can now spend my 'free time' studying and studying. and, oh yes, being HERE!! i'll try to check up a lot more often, like i used to. :)

soo...how IS everybody? anything exciting happen lately?

Yo no se. I'm at the point where I should just tell you to go to Boston instead cuz we still don't know if we'll have a car...but we might...so.

I guess I'm gunna say go on Friday, then if we do get the car...well, you can go to another one.

Amanda, good luck with looking for internships. where you think you will start looking? and for what?

I just found out that my school does an internship for Stage managers. WE rehearse a show then go over to Edinburgh and perform it at the Fringe festival!!!! My parents met in Edinburgh and I haven't been there since I was 8. so, wish me luck with that!

just watch Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. I saw that in 8th grade when we were learning about poltics and such, but I don't think I ever understood it. decided to give it a chance today. i forgot it was 2 HOURS AND 40 MINUTES!!!! long, but good.

anyway, yeah. i'm tired.

Hmm, I was just flipping through my Show People magazine and I saw one of the DRS posters that didn't "make it". Twas very interesting, I will look for a picture (if everyone here hasn't seen it already, it seemed vaguely familiar to me so I don't know if I had seen it before here).

It was decent Jamie. Really enjoyable--I liked the music, and met some very cool people. We got one mixed review where all that was said about the orch was we played continuously, so I have no clue what he thought of us...but another one I've been trying to find the link to online gave a great review...among other things it said "kudos to the mini-orchestra." I got kudos from a local Queens newspaper! Yaay!

No you may not ask about the internship :-P J/k, I'm not really sure at this point. I'll let you know when I do know more.

Sorry, can't help you with prom, no experience. I can give experience on baseball stadium attire since that's what I did in place of my prom--went on a road trip with my sister to 4 baseball stadiums. So much better than prom, which I heard sucked anyway, and much more productive way of spending my money.

Well I am back from the Celebrity Reading in New Jersey. Looong trip but well worth it. I'll post a review on the main tomorrow but it was a great reading. For this thread, I just say for you Norbert fans that Norbert completely blew everyone away (blowing Christine Ebersole away takes talent) reading a short story by Nathan Englander about a Jewish Santa Claus. Norbert also managed 5 different accents (including the good ole Schmuel from L5Ys) for the reading. He floored the mostly 50+ crowd.

Oh and plus after a little conversation with Mr. N, I can say that Norbert Leo Butz Online is now official.

Thanks Amanda Of course, I never would have gotten this far without Liz and Carol (and Kat to for emotional support lol) so thanks to them, the site has finally arrived at this point. Of course, now I have to see what changes he wants done to it. That should be interesting.

Anwyho, I hope your final weekend goes well, Amanda. I hope the pit is getting some raves as well.

The final weekend already happened Ryan :-P

I remembered what else I wanted to say. After months of searching, I finally got my hands on "The Making of Miss Saigon" on DVD for a reasonable price. It's really great, but I won't go into details b/c hardly any of you know the show at all. But anyway, I never saw this before, but they stretched out Jonathan Pryce's eyes to make him look more Asian. It looked weird, kinda creepy. They gave him purple eye shadow too.
