Some of us have been reticent in revealing the meaning of our usernames *cough*Aigoo. Thus, the birth of the Offical Guess the Meaning of Aigoo's Username thread...Any guesses? ...She "purports" it not dirty, but...
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

Both Nard's and Plum's guesses are close. Not DEAD ON, but close. There are several ways that this can be used in context.

(People add chamnah sometimes, it doesn't really matter. It doesn't add anything except a few syllables.)

Yep, there ya go.
I can't find an origin because it's been used for so long.
Good grief is the most common usage.
"Aigoo, neujuht ddah."
That could be "Oh, darn" (it basically means, "Oh, darn. We were late.")'
ETA: Some of my other favorite Korean terms (to freak out all my non-Korean speaking friends)

Ommonah... - (Used mainly by women) Oh my god.../Incredible...
