I did. Ever see her at a soul food joint? DAYUM! She puts her face in that pot of greens and doesn't come up until they're gone. I even heard she died at the grocery store buying fat back.

I don't believe a woman married to LORD Laurence Olivier would ever eat at a Fast Food Restaurant.

Moreover, she was British and passed away in 1967--and I believe that would've been WAY before the UK had ANY Fast Food Restaurants. (Except, of course, for Fish and Chip joints.)

That ho hopped on a pilot and flew back to Georgia every chance she could to pick up some soul food. I heard she even "hired" a few "extras" from GWTW to "work" for her at her plantation, er, house in the UK. And THEY knew how to cook.

ACTUALLY, Matt, 95% of the slaves at Tara left the ol' plantation when Sherman's Army marched through Georgia...

... so I Don't see how there would've been any Extras for her to "take back" to the UK with her...

I started watching it just last week. But I realized that BEVIS & BUTTHEAD DO AMERICA was on, and I think it's a more faithful adaptation of the novel.

And No, BEVIS & BUTTHEAD DO AMERICA was not on the AFI list. But hey, neither was A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT, so I don't put much faith in that list.

Marquise--I do believe Miss Leigh played Scarlett in GWTW as written by Sidney Howard and directed by Victor Flemming.

If you have any concerns with her Oscar-Winning performance, I suggest you discuss it with them (of course both have passed away. Oh, well.)

actually i'm just giving mary a good-natured nudge in the ribs.
i happen to think vivien leigh was one of the most beautiful and talented actresses to ever grace the silver screen.
her performances in GONE WITH THE WIND, ANNA KARENINA and WATERLOO BRIDGE are unmatched, unparalleled and most importantly UNSURPASSED....
