Sadly no! I live in Jersey City, just a few minutes away from Kean, but I'm supposed to be doing a *ahem* big project right now.

'Why did you? I would've stayed in NYC.'
'Texas scares me'
Because I was going broke and living in NY was becoming way too expensive, so I stayed with my parents in TX for a while before getting a job as a voice teacher and now here I am. I just don't have the talent to compete on Broadway and it was becoming quite apparent, so I am sticking with regional stuff for the moment and coaching kids that might actually have a chance on Broadway. My career wasn't totally a bust though. I did a few tours and such... 'Twas fun while it lasted
And yes. Texas is scary. Being republican is a religion here. I'm afraid my house will be egged if I discuss politics with anyone. Anyways, I am coming back to NY in December for a short visit (I swear I'm not a tourist!)

What tours did you do, NoDay? Do you mind sharing? And there's theatre in NY besides broadway, you have to be able to find something.
Chrys, why did you procrastinate on the project? And shouldn't you be working on it now instead?
I'm off to go watch Desparate Housewives, later everyone!

Yes, I know there is theatre in NY besides Broadway, but I would still have to pay expensive rent to stick around for some not-so-generous pay. And I'd rather not metion my credits, but I will say I was only an ensemble member or understudy/swing so you probably don't know who I am anyway.
