Harry Potter is NOT sexual. He's not allowed to be, not while he's still Harry. Until he takes an adult role... no.
Will the next movie have the same three kids as Harry, Ron and Hermione?

I love Harry, but not like that.
Supposedly, yes. On that note, I'm sad that John Williams isn't doing the music anymore. He's such a genius.

He's NOT?
That was top-notch movie music, right there. What has he moved on to? Does your roomie know?

He had to turn it down to write the score for Memoirs of a Geisha.
And no, *I* knew. Thanks.

*shrug* I didn't know you were so up to date on Harry happenings, but I did know that your roomie loves him.
That's a pretty good reason in my book. I really want to see Memoirs of a Geisha on film, though it will have to be condensed quite a lot. I'm not sure how well most modern audiences will accept the main character, though. She's very true to the time, meaning that she's not really independent and she obsesses over a guy. It's a great perspective that is too easily written off, but you have to set aside your biases more than the average bear can in order to learn anything from it.

I like Harry. She's just crazy.
And I think Williams is brilliant. I saw him conduct his music played by the Boston Pops once, and he's mesmerizing. For the sake of preservation and keeping people happy, whoever scores the HP movie will probably keep his themes in there, though.
I've never read Memoirs of a Geisha. My mom has it -- I'll borrow it from her.

I f*cking hate Star Wars. The ONLY reason I will watch it is if I'm babysitting, because then I'm getting paid to sit through it.
I'll break that whip you crack.

#3011Memoirs of a Geisha.
Posted: 9/30/05 at 11:42pmFun! I'll post about it in the thread on the main board later or in the morning. A few people had been wondering what exactly Anthony would do, so, I'll put it there.

Guuuys... WHY do I get so attached to things so quickly?
I don't go searching for things to help me procrastinate, they just happen. *sighs* I rented and watched an entire season of Queer As Folk this week. SO hooked.

ME. TOO. Of course, I started in the middle, with season three. It was all they had, and... I sort of didn't look at the box that closely. THEN, I downloaded a couple season one eps. DEFINITELY sobbed a LOT at the finale of that (all three times I watched it). MUST HAVE MORE! Will Blockbuster order things in for me just to rent? I don't have the money to buy all of the DVD sets.

Posted: 9/30/05 at 11:57pmIf they can get them from another Blockbuster, maybe it works sort of like a library? Can't hurt to ask.

*dreams*
My friends make fun, because EVERYTHING I LOVE is connected. This is no exception. I was Googling, and found a Rent actor in the cast: Dean Armstrong! And he played Jon in the Canadian premiere of tick, tick... BOOM!
