Mmmm, sex hair is NICE.
Emcee, I'm like you in that I'd rather work alone on stuff. But I have really close friends from home that I miss terribly when I'm at school, and that I spent almost every day with over the summer. I guess I'm independent enough, but I like people, too!

I like being with people, I just have certain moods about it. And they're very distinct. When I want to be social, I love being around people, and have a very social personality. But in general, I'm not much of a social butterfly.

Maybe we are!
Sometimes I'm sort of like "I want to meet new people!" but... that's not me, at all. I mean, I want to meet new people and have new people in my life, but I don't want to DO the things that would bring me to meet them. I don't want to go to parties and such.

Oh my goodness. I hate the party scene! With a passion. I'd much rather sit at home and read a book. I'm a the biggest nerd you will ever meet.
I even left my senior prom early (I left my date there) because they all had plans to go out and party and I didn't want to. So I walked out. Ha!
Bars scare me, too.
I feel like I might check out something like that maybe ONCE just to see what all of the buzz is -- and so I'm not such a sad excuse for a college student, either.
I just... I don't know. I don't find it appealing at all.

So I was just reading the other thread about the Chitty SD. And it reminded me about my SD experience after the evening performance on Wednesday.
Some drunk lady was there with her two kids and every time one of the Chitty kids walked out she stopped them and asked for their phone numbers so she could invite them over for pancakes. And some of the kids actually gave it to her. I mean, those poor kids didn't know how to deal with a situation like that. When Henry came out I just shot him a look to walk away. Then the lady offered me cookies out of her purse.
Shesh.

I had a night of bar-hopping (kind of: three places, one of which was kind of a restaurant) and it was... interesting, to say the least. I think it's scary that people go to bars to meet people! Not my scene at all. The last place was a gay bar, so there was definitely no chance of meeting somebody there. Eek! My friend did, though... or tried to. THAT'S why I hate bars. I feel like the responsible one, because I know nobody else will be!

It was definitely an experience, I'll say that! The dancing was fun! But I found it uncomfortable, because my friend had only come out to me a little while before. So it was like, "Yay, dancing with Scott... check out this guy over here... oh, he's checking him out, too. Right." This may sound small-town or whatever, but he was and is my first gay friend. It was quite an eye-opener.
But I think you need to go to one at some point. And dance your ASS off, because it can be lots of fun!
PS: Cuddling is fun, too, hehe.
I think I will at some point. I have a friend whose best friend is a gay guy, but he's one of those gay guys who voluntarily makes out with his female friends, etc -- so she goes to gay bars with him pretty often. It could be fun.
