Yeah, when he came back to close Aida, he had the stage door people telling his fans that if they wanted to meet him, they should be there an hour and a half before curtain. He was perfectly lovely, but would hardly ever come out after the show. Before the shows, you'd get maybe like... 5-10 people. After, there was a line that stretched down to the end of the block.

It was very strange.

Actually, I think that's really smart! He avoided the crowds and got the fans who really wanted to meet HIM, not just get some random person's autograph. With less people, he was probably able to spend more time with each one.

I've been meaning to start waiting for Raul before Chitty, just becuase he's sort of slightly of pre-occupied after the show. I'm not there to see the flying car. I'm there to see him make even the fluffiest fluff slightly sinister and relative to society.

He was SO sweet before the show. I just can't express how charming he was. He really took the time and chatted with me and I never once felt like he would have rather been doing something else. And he was stubbly!

However, now that I've done it once. I'm not sure that I will do it again.
