Yay, Chrys!

Okay, really random question: How long does it take (on a good day) to get from LGA to Times Square? Which is the most efficient way? Bus, taxi, train(is there even a train?). Thanks!

Ugh, I'm trying to concoct this ridiculous plan, and it's as though the world is against me!

If you want to get to my place from LGA, there's a bus that goes directly. I'm not sure how long it takes, but I could find out for you. To go from LGA to Times Square, you should probably get a bus (maybe even the bus to CU) and then switch the subway once you're actually in Manhattan.

At the same time, you probably want to add in some time for haults. The last time I flew into LGA, my flight was on time, but there was a whole bunch of planes flying out of LGA that we were heald on the runway for departure. We also had to circle the airport for an hour before we landed. I had tickets to The Normal Heart for that evening, and I missed the show! a complex fellow

Okay, I figured y'all would share in my disappointment just now. I clicked on the link to Rosie O'Donnell's blog in that thread on the main board to see how she responded to Ben Brantley's review. The most recent entry says:

raul esparza sings
from jonathan larsons
tick tick boom

Then a link labeled "Watch It". I get all excited, but it turns out to be a video montage of her wannabe-artsy pictures with "Why" just playing in the background. Stupid false advertising...

But I'm seeing Chitty tomorrow night, so I can't be too sad! a complex fellow

Yeah, it's taken me forever to plan a trip to NYC, so I'm making it count and seeing 5 shows in 2 days. Thank god for student discounts.

Yup. I'm seeing Chitty at 7pm and Sides at 10pm, so if you see someone sprinting downtown tomorrow night, that will be me a complex fellow

I'm absolutely DYING to see it again. My friends are at the stage door right now. Well, maybe they already left. Who knows? I'm waiting to hear about it. a complex fellow

I kind of have a feeling that they didn't. One of them called me before the show and offered to keep me on the line so I could listen, but I was downtown and couldn't really sit a listen to the show. She said she would call me if they met him.

I haven't heard anything so I'm thinking he didn't come out. Ah well.

It's a rainy Friday. He should just go home and snuggle. I don't blame him for not stage dooring. Haha.

However, if he pulls something like that when I go - I will blame him!

Honestly, I TOTALLY understand him not coming out if it's raining. Even though I did wait for about an hour and a half in the POURING down rain the night of the first preview. No, I'm not bitter! a complex fellow I wanted to just give up. I knew he had already gone. But, I was determined to wait till I was soaked to the bone.

Aww, I hope it doesn't. But who knows. Maybe if it is raining there won't be many people waiting and he'll come out the stage door.

Is it a safe bet just to look for his SUV? I mean if it's not waiting at the stage door, than odds are he's not coming out. Right? It's weird though. I have seen him walk home when the weather is nice.

ETA: *Clarifies* I hope it doesn't rain. I do however hope it lets up.
