Maybe there's a party at the Adam thread!

I'm here, I'm just sick. Bah humbug. Plus I've got cramps. Whoopedi-doo! I hope I feel better by Sunday for Chitty. I keep putting off writing what I'm going to for Raul's birthday. Mainly becuase I have no idea what I wanna say. It was hard enough the first time, but now a years gone by, and it's another birthday. So what else do I say?

I pop in occasionally to see what I missed, which has not been much lately. Midterm week is killing me. I haven't had more than 4 1/2 hours sleep a night for 6 nights. And I'm one of those people who NEED 8 hours. I'm zoning out, but I have this big Italian midterm and I need to do well. Grr...sorry, I hate being a whiner.

Someone bring up something happy and related to the man. And by the man, I mean Raúl.

Edit: Oh, Chrys. You always beat me to it...

Yeah, by tomorrow night, I'll be free as the breeze. Well, ok, I still have essays to write and tests to take, but I'll be midterm-free. Which is a smile-inducing thought! Then again, so is this thread and all you peeps. {Yeah, I said peeps. Gotta problem with that?}

Oh Elphie, Raul gets better looking every day. a complex fellow

Last year I went up to him and said "Happy Birthday! You look great." The second I said it, I realized what I had done and was absolutely ashamed of myself. I might as well have said "Happy Birthday, Raul. You look great for an old guy!" Which is NOT what I meant at all. I just. Got choked up, and didn't know what to say. So I panicked! Hopefully, this year I will be a little better.

Unrelated question, but how many posts does it take to be a legend? I'm now a Leading Actor, which I think means I've been upgraded again. Hmm...which category would Raúl be? See, that wasn't so off-topic. Broadway Star? Legend in the Making?

1000 posts to be a legend. It's all posted under the guidlines somewhere. Raul would be a One-of-a-Kind Legend-to-be! Something like that...

I would love to somehow acknowledge his birthday. But that could just be really awkward.

Maybe when I see him I can just wish him a late one... or something.

The big 3-5!

It's on Monday! Last year I gave him a card and he seemed very appreciative. He stayed and talked to every single person that wanted to say something to him. I just thought it was so cool that of all the things he chose to do on his birthday, the Larry Kramer tribute was one of them.

At least he doesn't have to sing the title song on his birthday!

Ha ha! Not having to sing that is probably gonna be the best part of his day!

AHHH! He's not allowed to be that old! Scary.

At least I can console myself by thinking about the fact that he gets more beautiful every year...

I love "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"...*sniff*

35 is still young. Quite young. Especially when he dances around with bamboo sticks; helps fight wrinkles.

I think I need to go shopping. I'm eating olives for dinner. Not by choice.

Bamboo sticks fight wrinkles? Where can I get a stick! Ha!

Olives are good. Wait black or green? I only like green olives.
