I feel your pain, G! Boo for cramps!
Oh, and the article was from Playbill.com. I'll find it again so I can post the link...
I did. But only because I know I shouldn't have been doing it. Credit cards are evil little tempters.
Skip the class. It can't be that important. Or...give me the money so I can buy a ticket, and I'll sell you something of equal or lesser value, like a shot glass or my soul or something.

Oh, credit cards are an EVIL thing. That was my mantra as I was purchasing my front row seat to Sweeney Todd! (Hint, hint, G! You know you want to see Sweeney!)
I can't skip the class. It's an acting class. And my midterm is that night. So if I skip, I would be letting my scene partners down. Simply not possible. But god, to hear Raul sing an Elvis Costello song. It is pretty damn tempting.

I really want to see Sweeney. I'm almost positive that I will.
I don't think I've ever heard "God Give Me Strength". Ah. I'll have to find a way to get my paws on it.

Try Limewire! That's where I get a lot of music.
Anybody else love the Cabaret-ness of the performers? In the sense of so many of them having been in Cabaret. I do. That's my second favorite show. Not that you guys have to care, but...just thought I'd share.

I used to have limewire and winmx but they've been taken off my computer. Rotten luck!
hiya everyone! i was actually OUT tonight! all the RAs are required to stay on campus since it's homecoming weekend, so we had a girls night! we made apple crisp, carved some pumpkins, roasted the seeds, watched the notebook, and did our hair! haha, it was awesome.
G - you should totally see Sweeney. I saw it last weekend and it ROCKED.

Ang, you are so cute! You know, Cabaret was such an important show to me. It was the first Broadway show that really shocked me. I saw it over ten times. And I LOVED that the performers played their instruments. I cried like a baby when that show closed. It was very hard for me to accept.
I think that's probably one of the reasons I loved Sweeney so much. It almost felt like I had Cabaret back in a way. Something to look forward to seeing time and time again, the way I looked forward to seeing Cabaret. And the set with the black chairs reminded me a lot of Cabaret's set.
Wait, were you talking about Sweeney or Chitty? Becuase so many Cabaret alum are in Chitty! *scratches head* Now I'm confused!

Aw, Kooks, that sounds so awesome! I'm glad you ladies had fun!
Oh, I meant that so many Cabaret people were in the Brilliant Mistakes concert: NLB, Raul, Adam, Molly, Alan...maybe some others.
Kooks, you rock. And The Notebook was the funniest experience of my life, even though it is the saddest movie ever.
Cabaret love!

I was gonna see Chitty tomorrow, but if it doesn't stop raining I am not going. Rain rain, go away!

Aww. :/ Some friends of mine saw the show tonight. Apparently it was pouring and Raúl came out of the stage door but blew everyone off.
awww. well, i can understand how he wouldn't want to stop in the pouring rain to sign stuff...
i hope it doesn't rain on saturday!!!

That's too bad. I just, I honestly don't blame him for not signing when it is raining. But still, if people are waiting for you in the rain, I would feel terrible leaving. I wonder if it gets easier the longer you are in the business, and the more you have to leave without signing.

Yeah, I don't blame him either. If I had been there, I probably wouldn't have even waited at the stage door. Getting wet is miserable.
I'm sure it does get easier. It's so easy for people in this business to get walked all over. I think that after a while they can't worry about hurting feelings.
