O em, does this mean you'll probably get another kiss on Monday?!
Good luck with the picture.
I don't squeal but a constant stream of "thank you's" comes out - not very coherent. The girl from CT surprised me. I didn't think it was the type of thing people would come from that far for, as amazing and definately worth it as it was.
Have a safe flight, g!

LOL! I didn't think CT was that far! I came all the way from Georgia to see him in Cabaret! Well, I came to see Adam in Cabaret and Raúl in Taboo. It was all one trip!

Posted: 10/26/05 at 10:06pmThat makes sense though. Seeing two people in two full length shows makes more sense than seeing him on stage for 10 minutes. I guess CT isn't *too* far though.

Oh, Raul. Really, he shouldn't be allowed to wear leopard print...anything! Especially that! Why, oh why did I miss that play??!

hahahah Em!
Yeah, and i'd have to agree, being from CT it's not THAT far...I have an hour train ride from home, max. From school, now THAT'S another story.
Elph, what a GREAT picture!

Awww, Elphie! I hope you feel better.
I don't think we've discussed this yet. Does anyone else find it interesting that Raul was in a workshop of Urban Cowboy. Our master thespian in Urban Cowboy just seems so weird to me! Yes, even more so than Chitty. I love that he said in the Theatremania interview that he took it because he needed to work.

And the quote that's so cute...
"In terms of "planning my career," my next move was complete luck: The Roundabout needed an Emcee for Cabaret and they offered that to me. At the time, I was doing a workshop of Urban Cowboy -- which I took just because I needed a job -- and I got a phone call from Elin Flack saying, "They want you to be the Emcee in Cabaret. Are you interested?" I was, like, "Okay!!!" "

Heh, that article has a lot of great quotes.
Yes, I'm trying to think of excuses not to work on a paper. Raúl is a great distraction.

LOL! Yes, he is a great excuse...
This interview does have a bunch of great quotes. One of my favorites. I always say that, though!

"Because of my experience in school, I feel as if I go back to the beginning with every project I start. I doubt my abilities. Sometimes, I'm embarrassed going into the first day of rehearsals for a show. I think, "This is the one where they're going to find me out."
TM: Are you feeling that less often and less acutely as your career continues?
RAÚL: No, it's getting worse! At our first rehearsal for Taboo, I spent the entire time with my face in the script -- and this is a show for which I've already done three readings! I was like, "Well, they have a week to decide whether or not they want me to do this." On the first day of rehearsals for Sunday in the Park With George at the Kennedy Center, the pianist played the arpeggio that opens the show and everybody sort of looked at me. It's like I was waiting for Mandy Patinkin to say, "White. A blank page or canvas." You know, "Where's Mandy?" I wish I could relax, but...
Awwwwwwwwwwww. I love Rauly!
Good morning, Ang!

Ech, he is so adorable.
*still trying to picture him in a cowboy hat*
#6448a complex fellow
Posted: 10/27/05 at 1:19pmUgh. He'd look so cute!
#6449a complex fellow
Posted: 10/27/05 at 4:42pmI'm trying to picture that, but a mental image of him in his leapord print underwear always pops up. It's even funnier when he's also wearing the cowboy hat.
