Maybe. I need some course-choosing advice from her, anyway.

Course registration. Another woe. I need this one class for my major, but they only offer a few sections each semester and it's already full. I got the rest of my schedule done in about 20 minutes earlier tonight, but that's only because I finally have an earlier registration date. I pity all the underclassmen psych majors, there's slim pickins left already.

I got a psych class (we have a lab requirement to graduate) but it conflicts with something I need for my major. So I don't know what to do.

I was being optimistic. 7 hours of sleep? Never gonna happen.

Registering will be a pain. My registration date is so late that I doubt any of my classes will still be open. Ok, seriously, goodnight!

Because of the set-up of the classes (80 minutes) almost all the pscyh classes are being held during the same few time slots. Don't get me started on the shortage of professors: 600 majors, 35 professors on staff. Poli Sci has 35 people as well, and they only have 400 majors.

On the brightside, I've now decided what my topic will be on my next column.

Oh, we have one time slot that EVERY CLASS EVER is in. It's really annoying.

I think I have til Monday. I'm getting nervous that the people I need to meet with won't be available by then. Luckily nothing I pick now is set in stone.

Unnecessary stress. I had planned what I wanted to take this semester, but for some reason a whole bunch of the classes I was interested in aren't offered this coming semester. I'm afraid of not getting the classes I want, and then having to take things I don't really care about just to fill up my time, and then I'll be bored and my mom will yell at me for not planning far enough in advance because she thinks everything is my fault and doesn't believe in flaws in the system.

.... what a run-on that was.

I should get some sleep. 'night!

Strike = only one class today! So, that means it's now 10:15 and I have nothing to do until noon. How nice!

We register online at a certain date and time, and I don't know how they pick the times because mine is days after all my roommates. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. I have three plans for class schedules that will be ok - not good, but ok.

Wow, do I have a headache today...

I'm wet. And hungry. And I'm skipping my first class- but it's not my fault. See banal thread for details. a complex fellow

'morning. (And feel better!)

We register online, too, but for certain courses that are limited enrollment, we have to go in person and wait on this HUGE line at like 7 AM. Since I have yet to be able to get my schedule figured out, I don't know if anything I'm taking IS limited enrollment, so I really hope I don't miss out. There are two rounds of limited enrollment registration, and the one now isn't even set in stone, so I think I'm okay.

ETA -- skittles, that sucks. A lot. a complex fellow

Our registration dates have some sort of hierarchy, but I'm still so confused about what they are. It's not just seniors, juniors, etc. certain programs have their students earlier than others because they "need" the class for their major. All I know is psych majors need that same priviledge, because all these journalism/marketing students with early dates then take up all the slots in the psych classes as an elective.

We have to register for online, I did it yesterday. They try to talk about how easy it is, but it's only easy when all the classes you want are wide-open. I still have to get another class figured out, but I don't have time to figure it out until Friday.

Thanks. I'm back here and wearing flannel PJs, so it's all good now.

I didn't realize that Brian Stokes Mitchell was president of The Actor's Fund. That's really cool.

Where's Mackinac Island?

At least he's not wearing a t-shirt that says Fire Island, because I think I've seen him in one and my jaw fell to the floor.

Michigan. It's in between where the two pieces of the state meet.

Fire Island shirt? That's...interesting.

I know the connotation isn't the same anymore, but still. It's like Adam's Dirty Sanchez t-shirt.

He looks very cute. I wasn't a fan of the overly-long hair he had in the beginning of Chitty, but then he cut it too short. It was like he used that hair-cutting invention from the show or something.

I didn't like it SUPER-long like it is in the pictures at the theatre, but I did like it right before he cut it really short.

Yeah, see, that's very nice. It's short enough so that it's appropriate for anyone that's not in an 80s metal band, but long enough so it doesn't look like he's AWOL.

That's a really good picture of him. Was that from the stagedoor?
