Wow, that's awkward. Really awkward. Hope he...well, how do I say that I hope he finished quickly without grossing anyone out? I don't know if it's possible. Ah, well.

Good morning, ladies!

Mondays always suck. Add to that the fact that I'm doing bad in most of my classes, I have a bad cold and earache, and the strike is still on so I'm not sure if I'll get a grade or just pass/fail for three of my classes. Grr...

Mondays suck. I've been up since 6:30 and I have to write a 6-page tonight before I can go to sleep. Fun stuff.

On the plus side, it's supposed to be 60 degrees today, which is unheard of at this time of year.

It's warm here, too, but because of it my allergies are making me wish I were dead.

*pulls from page two*

In English, we passed out our portfolios, and when I turned mine over, I read the words, "Raúl Esparza is a cupcake AND a kitten!", and nearly passed out from my laughter.

So I finally got my suitcase this evening. I started to unpack it and realized that the stupid TSA people had gone through and taken out my nail file, my nail scissors and my tweezers! They weren't in my carry-on, they were buried in my luggage because I knew I would need them while I was home. But apparently, they thought that having tweezers in my luggage underneath the plane was a threat to national security!

The worst part is that they were all new!

That happened to my dad once. a complex fellow It was something passed down to him from his father, too, so he was really upset.

Shesh. Airport security is getting ridiculous. I mean, I want to be safe on a plane. But I don't really think the terrorists would attack us in the same way twice.

Well, anything that's considered a weapon will be taken away from you...at least that's what the security guards at LAX said. *shrug* But, yeah...I guess no one can be trusted with tweezers anymore.

It's just so annoying. What's even more ridiculous is that they didn't take my razor, which was in an outside pocket. You'd think a razor could do more harm than a pair of tweezers.

I hate having to take off my shoes each time. Haha. And my jackets and bulky sweaters and belts. I mean, I have to practically undress. And usually those outfits took me a while to put together. Haha.

I hate taking off my shoes too...but my grandma has a bit of a trick. She always wears sandals to the airport checkpoints. That way, it's easier to get through security.

That's clever.

I fly way too often for my own good.

I would like to fly more often. Believe it or not, I love being on airplanes...just being in the air, I guess, thrills me.

But, with the high prices of airline tickets these days, my mom and I only travel to places by plane every two or three years.

I wear sandals when I can, but I was flying back to school and there was snow on the ground here. I also hate when they make you take off hoodies. One time, I actually wasn't wearing anything but a really thin cami underneath and they still made me take it off. Awkward!

I never flew on a plane until I was 18 years old. Since then, I've flown about 6 times a year.

Wow! I fly every few weeks. And I HATE flying. I'm scared of heights. But somehow I deal with it. I guess I figure I'd rather fly to the city than be stuck here.

I enjoy flying, usually, but when we're taking off I always have this fear that we're not going to make it. It must be some wierd...complex...thing I have. *shrug*
