My mom is the same way. She does not like waiting around at stage doors. Well, she does like Megan Hilty so she doesn't mind chatting with her. She was totally not interested in the Chitty stage door.

That's fine, I guess. She usually just ends up being my photographer.

heh. My mom is usually the photographer as well. Sometimes she'll talk a little, mostly on her suddenly-mute daughter's behalf. My dad just absently takes the photos, and my brother takes them, but wishes he could hide.

My mom will wait with me most of the time if she's the only one with me, because she knows I like it a lot. It was raining the first night I saw Chitty, but she stayed with me anyway, because she knew it was really important. She held the umbrella over Raul and me.

Yeah, you know. We wouldn't want the talent to get wet and melt or something...

He was so cute - he thanked everybody for waiting in the crappy weather. It was more of that annoying, icky misting than it was actual rain. I don't think even he's nice enough to deal with fans in pouring rain.
