It's either makeup or one HELL of a tan. heh.
Looks like a crazy tan to me.
*just reread the last scenes of TNH *
It looks like a sunburn to me. I mean, look at his face, then look at his stomach.
ETA: Wait, I just realized that made absolutely no sense. Ignore me.
I think they put pale makeup on his face.
Yeah they did. The pics of him in Rocky Horror are all ghostly pale and not that different from him as the Emcee.
He scares me when he's that pale.
HA! I just finished reading the entire thread! Ha!
Yeah, I just think it's slightly strange that they put makeup on his face but not his stomach.
....The entire thing? Wow.
Honestly, Sum? How long did that take you? If you're being honest, I'm very impressed.
I don't think you could see his stomach in the normal costume, so it didn't occur to them to cover it. I think he stripped for the camera
Not like he minds. As per the first ShowPeople photo, he must think the camera likes his tummy.
Well then, he's right.
Aww, the pretty picture makes me sad now.
Edit: Okay, no more BWW for me today. I'll be back when I've actually accomplished some schoolwork. Have a good day, guys!

Forget the camera, I like it

Nothing like waking up to Raul tummy in the morning (afternoon). I actually had a Raul dream last night! He was in his Chitty costume and was like saving children from this guy, but I was one of the kids (his kid I think, which is weird because A. I am too old to be his child, and B. I am insanely attracted to him. It was all very weird, but pretty good for a first-dream appearence. He was very heroic!
Aww, that's really cute ShiksaGoddess!
...I wonder if he realizes his pants are that low... *ponders*
When he's in character, he's so confident, he's such a pimp. So I'm sure that he knows it.
Even in the one you posted? The *other* tummy one? He's not really in character in that one, is he?
I can almost picture the photographer being like "lower those pants just a little bit more...."
But then again, how can you have a body like that and not be somewhat aware of your sex appeal? I mean, it's all in the way he stares into the camera.
I think even to a certain extent, he's a character in photo shoots, if only to project more of what they want him to come across as. Like in the article, they call him a "rock star Laurence Olivier"- they can't exactly project that image through a picture of him wearing old baggy sweatpants and staring at the floor.
He seems like he always looks to hide behind a character. Even when he sang God Give Me Strength, there was a lot more on that stage than just Raul singing a song.
Exactly. I think I realized that for the first time when he was singing Defying Gravity. He wasn't just singing the song, he was singing the song as Idina and Krisin singing Defying Gravity. It was hilarious then, but it also makes me kind of understand what he was talking about in the Kentertainment interview the night of Brilliant Mistakes about doing his own show.
