I can't wait to hear him sing Someone Is Waiting, Barcelona and Being Alive, especially. Nor can I believe that I actually WILL hear it. :)
Every time I listen to Company, I'm glad that I don't have any friends named Bobby because I'd be tempted to constantly sing the intro to Company and it would probably bug the hell out of them.

LOL! I know exactly what you mean, Skittles! There are TWO Bobby's in my acting class! I'm ALWAYS singing that damn song!

I think I'm most excited to hear him sing "Marry Me A Little" and "Being Alive"... and "Someone Is Waiting"... and... well, EVERYTHING!
My favorite song in the show is "Barcelona" and while I know he will sing it beautifully, I'm most excited to see him in the bed.
I PMed you guys back about Evita. Sorry it took me so long! I keep forgetting I have a new SN on here!
Barcelona is such an evil song, hah... I love that this show is so cynical-yet-optimistic. I do love the entire thing, though.
Does anyone have any idea how Tick Tock is usually staged? It's kind of an odd song.
Marry Me a Little isn't on the OBC, but I listened to a clip on iTunes. He's going to ROCK Being Alive.
Watch him like... lay on a cardboard box and John Doyle call it a bed.
Nah, he'll bring over that coffin/tabble/chair/boat idea from Sweeney
Maybe he'll have Raul lay on the PIANO and call it a bed.
HOTTTTT.
ps, EM....I'm totally watching JULIA MURNEY on L&O:CI on USA! :) I know you love the Murney.
DAMN IT. Why don't I get USA?! *cry*
I hate when they leave songs off OBCRs. It's like, then why bother putting it in the show in the first place if you don't really want to record it for posterity sake?
"Marry Me A Little" was originally cut from the show, I think, and was incorporated back in for the revival. So it wasn't in the OBC production at all.
Also... yeah, I hope the minimalism doesn't bug me. Maybe it'll add to the show somehow. *crosses fingers*

Em, you don't get USA?? That is pure madness.
And it looks like I'm going to miss Company...damn it!!!
I get like four channels.
I don't think the minimalism will be annoying, per se, but I do think I might be wishing for a traditional performance.
Don't throw anything at me, but i've never listen to Company, and one care to explain a little?
It doesn't really have a conventional plot; it's more like... a series of viniettes. (I don't think I spelled that right.) Anyway, it's about Bobby (who may or may not be bisexual), a guy with... committment issues.
It's a great role for Raul.
I should really get this CD somehow. The library doesn't have it.
