I don't know very much about Peter Kim, but he's in SIDES, and he's wonderful!
Bugs are icky.
:)
I read about SIDES in the NYTimes. It sounds like fun.
Bugs are horrible. Yet the only ones I can kill are mosquitos and little ants.
But Raul makes everything better. Even bugs. I think.
Has anyone here read Heart of Darkness AND can write thesis statements? I am so bad at them.
I have read heart of darkness....i could try and do something for you, but i read it like 3 years ago for my english class. but let me know if you need anything.
I think I'm just going to ask my teacher about it tomorrow. It's so hard to articulate stuff over the internet. But thanks.
More lovely eyes.

Aww I'm listening to it now. You guys were right, he really did BELT that last note to death. Guh!
Oh, Raul.
When John Lithgow first said Chitty was coming up, the audience was so damned unenthusiastic, and I was really mad! Then I almost choked with laughter when Raul came out in that t-shirt. At least the actual PERFORMANCE got a better reception. People like Raul, I guess.
I'm still mildly surprised that he bothered to show up. He's done Broadway on Broadway once before, and the leads usually do go to this, but for some reason I expected Rick to be there, or something -- maybe in the sense that with a show like Chitty, people don't give a damn -- for the most part -- who's in the cast. He did so well; I figured if he showed up, we'd get a half-assed performance. But then I remembered that he's far, FAR more professional than that.
aww i'm JEALOUS!!! i so wish i could have gone...why oh WHY did i have to go to school three hours away?? haha...but i'm glad that i have

He looks quite a bit like Jonathan Larson in that one; that sort of thing always creeps me out. His hair's CUTE, though.
Broadway.com has several GREAT pictures of him from today -- my favorite is a really sweet one of him with the group of kids that performed today. Someone give him a child.
*droops*
I'm tired, on account of waking up at five in the morning to get a good seat to see Senor Esparza, so I'm off.

When he belted out that last note, I was so excited I screamed at the end and think I deafened the girl in front of me.
Oh well, at least she got to hear how great Raúl sounds before that.
That t-shirt threw me off a few seconds, also.
And Em, in your pics, doesn't he look like he has all his pants pockets full of...God knows what? It was distracting actually.
Thanks again for those!

I noticed that, as well! He really packed them full! I mean, if you're going to do that - why not just carry a purse?
The one in the back pocket looks like mic equipment, maybe. But then I was thinking that maybe it wasn't, since he was using a hand-held mic. That was sort of... odd. I have a picture of Raul, my best friend and I where you can VERY easily see a pack of cigarettes in his shirt pocket, and that's sad.
heh. A purse! He has the most adorable Taboo messenger bag. I like it!
Raul looks like he's had some sun.
What do you think?
Sheeps Meadow, Fire Island on Mondays?
*choke*
Well, he almost always looks SORT of tan -- the luck of his Hispanic complexion, I suppose. I have a picture where he looks bright red -- like he's been burnt to a crisp! He looks quite excellent, though.
One word keeps coming to mind - speedo.
As long as it's not a yellow one, because.... that's just funny now.
I see him in a white speedo with maybe some blue and pink in it.
