Absolutely. He's wonderful in Sweeney.

He has a beautiful voice and can not only play violin very well, but can do so while singing and hopping around the stage.

I'm such a fan! And yes, I too think he's got one of the coolest freakin' names I've ever heard. It's right there under Raúl Eduardo Esparza.

It's probably gonna take a couple of weeks for this thread to really get started, but once more and more people see Sweeney, they are gonna be flockin' to this thread like moths to a flame. You mark my words, moths to a flame! This man is BRILLIANT. And beautiful to boot.

Manoel is ridiculously amazing. The boy plays four instruments, acts, sings, moves set pieces and according to Emcee, speaks multiple languages.

He also has a myspace, which makes cyber-stalking easy.

So upset I couldn't see his Ars Nova show (alas: this is the price one pays for not living in NYC), but he was magnificent in Sweeney Todd. My CD just came today, so I finally got to relive the glory that is his "Not While I'm Around" (many, many times).

I admit I haven't heard the new Sweeney cast recording, or seen the show (as Elizabeth DeBris - great screenname, by the way - said, "the price one pays for not living in NYC"). But Manoel Felciano's certainly cute, and I think Tobias is an amazing role!
