Posted: 1/10/08 at 2:29pmI couldn't find anything in a search, so here is the official movie thread. I am going to a screening of it tonight, and am very excited! Is anyone else interested in this movie, produced by Del Toro, the director of "Pan's Labyrinth"?

I got back to my house about 30 minutes ago. It is a very good film. It was shot, acted and, scored magnificently. And it was scary as Hell. I never, ever jump at films, and I jumped TWICE.. My heart was racing.
At the same time as the ghost story is unfolding, so is a dynamic family drama. It combines the two genres relatively well and effectively overlaps them.
I loved it because the tension just builds and builds into a seat - gripping climax
The ending was unexpected, but appropriate and very moving.
I haven't been so involved in a psychological thriller in a long time.
