OK, OK, I know what you are thinking. "BSo is WAY too cool to be sitting at home alone on a Saturday night." And you're right. But, alas, the snow has kept me locked inside!
So, I watched MADAGASCAR for the first time...twice!
It is a hilarious movie! Who else loved it?
It isn't as good as the other CGI's, but I still found it positively humorous!
IN ANTARTICA!
Penguins: Well, this sucks!
It had some great lines! And the monkeys!
And the Lemurs! And the foussa - FOSSA.

I quadruple heart you! I lost this message when my laptop crashed and nothing was retrieved. Thanks for saving me a search.
Several BWW'rs got together in DC over the holidays and I remember telling bluemoon, maybe others about this thread/your message and how after one of the worst work days I ever had I went searching for this because I laughed so much the first time I read it. Canned cheese and S&M.. 
Phantom Chicken??? Gads, I miss everything...
Sorry for threadjacking. Now back to regularly scheduled penguins.

Skittles/Harpo, I'm assuming you were discussing that after I left for Wicked b/c I don't remember that convo...I think. Hmm...that conversation led Harpo to start drinking waay too much, didn't it? Sad I missed that

Now I am sure some people are looking at this thread hoping to read about penguin-love...but since BSo said there is no threadjacking...
Hi Skittles and WRQ!!! Wicked, I didn't realize YOU started this thread until BSo shared the link just now. That means I heart you too. Oh, too bad I mentioned it after you left for the show! I am going to have to read the entire thread again. I know yours was a serious question and a good one, and there were some good and thoughtful answers, but I am so thankful for BSo's post.
And the drinking??? I blame it on Daydreamer. *hiccup*.

Well, it was a trade-off...def DD's fault, but you were on the healthy side of the table, the other side all got sick. Granted I ended up w/ a virus like 5 days later, but Mamie decided since I was on the healthy side, I must have gotten it from the Kennedy Center.

Posted: 2/12/06 at 9:12amI haven't seen it yet, but my 2nd graders were working on animal projects this week and for the first time ever, I had several people ask to learn about lemurs. They quickly filled me in on why lemurs are so "in" right now. :) I can't wait to see it!
