So as some of you know, a friend of mine was in a bad car accident. He is awake now, but very much damaged physically and mentally. He is just starting to recognize people, but something interesting happened, and the doctors said it sometimes happens...

He couldn't remember any of his family, or anything much about his life, but he was able to talk on his cell phone just fine as if nothing happened and he knew where everything in his laptop was. He has a whole convo with my Mother, and could recognize all his family and friends via his cell phon only, but not face to face. Quite amazing.
