Now I'm not sure if I heard this right cos I was at the gym when this topic came up on Breakfast TV in the UK this morning. Apparently, the latest must-have dog in NY is the Puggle which is a cross between a Pug dog and a Beagle. It was a lovely looking dog - small, with very short fur like a Pug but with a Beagle's face. Really beautiful. Really adorable and great as a pet - good temperament etc. Has anyone actually seen a Puggle or, better still, does anyone own one?

Here's another thread on Puggles that might be helpful. re: The Puggle - help!

Ooooh, thanks...you see, I did say that I had only just seen the article on UK Breakfast tv and we're a bit behind the times over here. The latest news over here is that there's a new show playing Bway...something like Nasty...or, er...'Wicked' - yeah, that's it, 'Wicked'.

One of my Ex girlfriends had a, what she called, pugapoo which was a cross between a pug and a poodle and was without a doubt the sweetest and best tempered dog ever.

There was a woman walking a puggle in a park near my office - it's really cute, I thought from a distance it was a miniature boxer puppy until I got closer. They have the same face...she said it was a great little dog for an apartment, but tends to be kind of hyper and needs to be walked at least three times a day. She was also hoping that trait was a puppy issue that it would grow out of eventually, but she really loved the little guy.

One of my good friends has a puggle and he is super cute. His fur is really soft and also short so he does not shed as much. He is quite hyper but very friendly and loving.

They're expensive...usually somewhere between $600-$2000 for a puggle puppy.

Wait wait wait. Pattifan, you were at the gym?

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.
