I know that's so horrible. They seem like a nice couple. They got married awhile ago, so why are they being targeted now? Is it because of her sucess in Wicked? Or because of the Rent movie?

Probably Wicked plus the publicity of Kevin Hill. It's so sad though - of course racial discrimination is still a major issue, but I thought we were more or less past the "problems" with interracial relationships. At least, I thought discrimination is a lot more covert than this.
