Hey, quick poll for everyone reading this (er, the two of you):

Is nudity in film required in any particular circumstance?

I don't necesarily mean the character being naked, I mean the actor being naked and showing those hidden goodies. Is it ever *necessary*? For example, Meg Ryan and Natalie Portman were two actresses who had very successful careers with infamous stipulations that they would not doff their tops for any role.

Now both of them have, for the sake of "artistic integrity". But is this ever really the case? Are there any instances where nudity ON SCREEN is NECESSARY for the film?

And I wonder if there will be nudity in Rent (Idina)...so I suppose, yes!

Well not really anything that I can think of.. unless you include Demi Moore in Striptease.. But even that could have been avoided..

See, Cam, that's what I was thinking. It can be avoided. It's all gratuitous isn't it? Surely for the most part, a bare back here, a strategically placed angle and arm there, etc. would suffice in pretty much all circumstances without having to resort to showing a nipple or a cooter, right?

It was great talking to you "this morning." I only wish I got on this thread back in November - where was I?

Anyway, hopefully these haven't yet been asked, but....

1) Did you find the language barrier difficult when you were in The Lion King?

2) Any plans to head back on Broadway - become a superstar, win a Tony, and show Broadway what "it" is ALL about? *just look at the part before the hyphen hehe)

3) This is a bad thing, but whenever I see the show I say "JoAnne - Fredi." What is it like to know that you have become the one and only JoAnne (in my eyes, at least)?

4) Did you ever wish you had another solo in Rent - such as OTM or Glory? You have such a great, powerful voice!

Bleh, now I can go to sleep as long as this persons stops snoring!

That was one hell of a marathon read. Twenty pages.

Anyway, stupidity is painful. It murders my brain cells rather violently.

And I so had nothing to do with the Adam obsession.

Oh, Fredi- do you ever get tired of doing the same show every night? I know it's your job and all, but just watching Rent is exhausting, I can't even imagine performing it.

Slowly going insane in my little dorm room...I have to do mass finals studying. To top it off, my history prof. gave us a list of ten essay topics from which he will pick four to put on the final.

And since I'm really bad at bs-ing in history, guess who plans on writing all ten essays?
